I thought we were gonna get that moment when we first got to Sharlayan but they said that her parents were out of town and left it at that until this scene. It was very well done and very much needed!
I've yet to find someone who didn't cry at that cutscene. I still do every time I see it and I guess I always will. It probably is one of the most beautiful and meaningful cutscenes in the game. ❤
Oh boy, as one of numerous emotional vampires, I can't wait to see the rest of your journey ! I'm glad to see you put pieces together through your other videos, and I wish you both to have a wonderful rest of MSQ !
Yeah, what hurts more is that the person he would've probably told, or would've recognized that he needed to to tell someone, is the same person he lost 😭
I feel like everyone had such an emotional journey with Endwalker. Despite having played the game since 2.0 all the way back in 2014, I actually didn't break down crying like a lot of other people seemingly did. I remember wondering if there was something wrong with me... lol All that said, the scene with Urianger did get me misty-eyed. He's one of my favorite characters. He is a character who appears somewhat hard to approach at first, being the verbose scholar that he is... But ever since Moenbryda passed, I got this feeling that he always carried a heavy burden with him, and I felt some connection with him there. Seeing him be received so warmly by Moenbryda's parents just hit hard.
There's absolutely nothing wrong in not getting emotional in these scenes! I think it's all about how you've lived your life and whether or not there's a semblance of those experiences within these characters and their obstacles. Emotionality is not a prerequisite for appreciation, which from the sound of it, you have for good storytelling.
no matter how many times i watch this scene i always tear up. such a well written and directed scene, and uriganger is the best character in the game to me.
It messes him up when the two screens aren't synced and starts scrambling to find out what's happened. Apparently producing and being on live is a bit of a challenge especially when you don't know what's gonna happen! Who knew?!? Lol
this hit me hard i waited 10 years to get the closure that urianger needed

I do as well. No matter HOW MANY TIME I've seen it, as soon as that hug happens....
This part of the story was nothing but tears and laughter, back to back. I still can't get over it!😅 Keep going!! 👍
暁月ではこのシーンが1番泣けました😢

Yeah, Urianger carried that baggage for 10 years, not really being able to tell to anyone about it really..

You didnt do the Stormblood Trials :D .. There was a missing scene ;)
It was on Teavy's character! He's done way more of the content. He just didn't switch over during those lines because it didn't sync up live lol.

He pronounced Idylshire correctly. Its like idyllic
Does that mean we've been reading it wrong this entire time?!?
