Elvira is a great momma. She wasn't letting anyone touch her babies and make them squeal, even though she knows y'all so well. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed day.
Hi on behalf of the pigs hereby I send you their Christmas wishlist : 1 : a hard broom or a hard brush you Humans use to scrub floor in your houses....mounted to a pole so we can scratch ourselves when we need to 2: a wood or rubber floor so we don't need to lie on the cold ground during winter 3: a few old blankets at winter nights to keep us a bit warm. Thanks & many oinks.
Wow! the pigs have gotten so big in a short amount of time! Love that you have branched out into beekeeping. You all keep me motivated to keep going with growing plants and raising my chickens. Thank you!!
My goodness I absolutely love that rain hat. It is perfect I mean it’s hard to hold an umbrella when you’re filming yourself and working in the yard. Also, that is an awesome awesome hat.
man your pasture is looking sooooo much better than it did when you bought it. i was worried how long it would take to recover from horses but yall are doing great
Missed your folks. Your HOMESTEAD ❤️❤️❤️🀄🀄🀄 looks like you've been here many year's. You've gotten much accomplished. Piglets are growing fast. I feel for the poor MOMMA feeding 7 babies. She needs a holiday. Thank you. Until my time. CHOW FROM S E MICHIGAN 🀄🀄🀄🛐🛐🛐🌹🥀🀄
That umbrella hat is absolute perfection hahaha. I also love the first person shots. It's like I was doing the work! Love the idea of using wiggle wire and wire channel to hold a tarp cover on a mobile coop. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
so excited for your bee keeping. my neighbors keep bees and they drink water from my bird bath and love my gardens . I dont have the equipment but maybe will one day!
you got it going on Jason , the master plan is starting to come together. It has been and continues to be adventure watching you grow and become more confident in your skills - can't wait to see what is next !
Jason I got to say, you are killing the umbrella hat dammmm 😂. I need one of those for where we live, it rains 9 months of the year. Very cute piggies too 😍
I cannot believe how far you guys have come- Now it is just Oh Yeah !!! lets move the pigs etc. Please have a look back at when you first got pigs etc WOW congratulations on the progression & learning. I just love it.🥰🥰🥰 Great explanation of the electric netting s well. GREAT VIDEO GUYS. Cheers Denise- Australia
I hope you can do a little drone footage over this year, because if you don't have a drought the clearing the fence line and the rotation of the animals, I am excited for you.
I know your other breed of pigs grow faster with less investment feeding them but the Kune Kunes are much more fun and cute also not as scary as the much bigger pigs.
Hi Jason and Laura 👋 Just us 2saying hi and thanks again for sharing this video update and lifestyle 👍 keep up the good work and enjoy your lifestyle lifestyle 👋den and sue from across the pond uk 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🚌🚌🚌
I like the broilers you are raising. When my family was young we raised the Cornish Cross. It took the same length of time as the ones you have now. At that age some of the roosters would werght fifteen lbs and hens went from ten to twelve. I am not sure what they did to the Cornish Cross but they are ugly and they can hardly walk. Happy to see you gave them up. You have learned so much since taking up Homesteading.
When the bees fly around like that it's called an orientation flight, they orient the hive with the position of the sun. Also you should ALWAYS have the smoker at hand and lit, you don't have to use it but you need to get used to lighting it every single time you approach a hive, so it becomes second nature.
We built our layer tractor per your plans got our 14 chicks ordered and will be here in a few weeks. Just have to get the Premier 1. Thanks for your help.
I've not got past the first 17 seconds yet!....I've watched it 5 times and still can't stop laughing.😂😂😂. You do know I'm going to have the giggles all day now! 😘😅😅
I would have a hard time processing what I've cared for for 2 yrs, especially a mammal. I only have quail so it's a lil easier to keep feelings in check though I do get fond of certain ones. A few of the sweeter ones have gotten "pardons" lol. But it's a lot less expensive to keep a few extra quail vs an extra pig. Your pigs are gorgeous and the mama is being very good with trying to protect when they are squealing without going overboard and being dangerous. I'm glad you recognized the warning signs instead of still trying to carry them all. Best to be safe!
We've been considering adding this breed to our homestead, but were concerned about the time and space needed to grow them out. I'm glad to learn more about them.
Man, someone strapped rockets to Elvira there! We just got our first feeder pigs a few weeks ago, so much fun having them here. Ours are Kune-kune x Meishan. Our breeding set will get here in about a month, with a Kune-Kune boar, so we will have a Zeke of our own!
that is a cool umbrella Why don't you have the spot where you can get that at But you would sew a lot of those especially in the rainy area like Vancouver Island BC
You have so much going on for you!! Great job, guys! I’m excited for you…the bees, the cutest pigs ever, and the chickens follow you! You are the chicken whisperer.
June’s are the best pig for small holdings don’t wreck the pasture cause they do little or no rooting. Very popular here in New Zealand. But some people over feed and end up with so much fat on carcass 😊
I'm aware of the slow growing aspect of these little pigs. I believe part of that is because they feed on pasture mostly instead of grain. That's why I feel with these pigs it would be a good idea to have at least two or three female pigs and have more pigs on the homestead.
They have got to be the cutest little piglets I ever did see!
Jason I like your hands free umbrella hat!!! The baby Kune Kunes are so adorable. They're growing fast!!
Elvira is a great momma. She wasn't letting anyone touch her babies and make them squeal, even though she knows y'all so well. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed day.

You must be mistaken us for city pigs. Just give us sweet tea and hay. This is the south ya’ll!
So happy you are keeping some of the baby's they are beautiful and Elvira is a good mom.
I knew those cute little pigs would be spoken for immediately. 😊
Your handless umbrella 🤣😂!! That's awesome! The piglets are still adorable at three weeks. Who needs sheep when you have Kune Kunes?
Wow! the pigs have gotten so big in a short amount of time! Love that you have branched out into beekeeping. You all keep me motivated to keep going with growing plants and raising my chickens. Thank you!!
Those were likely orientation flights by the bees as they got used to the new homes. Tiny piglets, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
My goodness I absolutely love that rain hat. It is perfect I mean it’s hard to hold an umbrella when you’re filming yourself and working in the yard. Also, that is an awesome awesome hat.

Oh that piggy was telling on you! "Mama mama this lady's got me" 🤣
Kune pigs are so sweet and I love that you will be keeping some. Kunes love affection and belly rubs!
Um...his keeping them has to do with them being food not anything else.
That umbrella hat is absolute perfection hahaha. I also love the first person shots. It's like I was doing the work! Love the idea of using wiggle wire and wire channel to hold a tarp cover on a mobile coop. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

How did I miss those precious piggies being born? I've been waiting for them!😢❤❤❤
There is a video about it.
Very cool that the pigs did NOT eat that balloon - or at least only a very small part. Balloons are such a problem!
always love your videos. You give newbies like myself great inspiration and hope that we can do this also. Thank you!!!
The Kune's are So darn cute!

I love the consistency of the big pigs food, less waste when it’s wet like that, also not dusty. I’m sure they “ lick their platter clean”!

Great Hat! 😉 in your introduction.
Great job! Good to see you guys 🤗❤️
You should tilt those bee hives forward so the water flows out in case of heavy winds blowing rain in.
Cute piggies! 🐖
Watch out for mother pig! 🐖
