    I have a 2020 FLHT 107. After a ton of research I ended up with the Red Shift 468, fullsac MX header, S&S MK 45 slip ons, power vision and Arlen ness big sucker. 100 hp / 110 torque smooth curve no dips. It’s so much more fun to ride. I looked into the 475 but it definitely works better on 114 and bigger engines specially high compression. Sounds great, congratulations!

    • @HudsonMoto

      Thank you for watching! I was looking into the red shift cam also. Moonshine Harley Davidson did an awesome video on cams.... I narrowed it down to the s&s and the redshift... and the reason why I went with the S&S was the shop that I go to was having a sale on the 475 haha

      Best bag for buck S&S 475 cam… and I would spend the extra money on the whole cam chest and a a good tuner . With those two things you can see a 20% gain in HP and torque…

    Sweet ride! I recognize the road you were on, river road in edge water in route to Ft Lee(I thought you were making a right by interstate park at one point, or at least it used to be interstate park. :), old stomping grounds for me. I do love the sounds the 475 makes in idle. Enjoy the new power!

    Nice review just did stage 2 on my ultra 107 HD torque cam S&S oil pump cam plate lifters. I found it really wants to be ridden now at 3k and up. Funny you said the same the meat of the powerband is now 3-4.5 k rpms

    • @HudsonMoto
      @HudsonMoto  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for watching. if I'm not on the highway going 70 80 usually around town I'm in a lower gear than usual because I keep the RPMs around 3,000. it's something to get used to for people that been riding Harleys all their life because the torque is down low but if you ride a sport bike it's almost the same because the power on the sport bike is higher in the rev range.

    I have a 2022 SGS and looking to do a Cam. My stock SG is pretty peppy and don't want to lose that. I also don't want to blow my ears out all the time as well as my girls ears. I don't go away on long trips all the time but I will do some of them.... Is this cam going to be too much.... The only issue is that I drive aggressively... Maybe go with the 465c from S&S

    • @HudsonMoto
      @HudsonMoto  2 месяца назад +2

      @@M_J_Glide_22 With either cam you’ll get a lot more pep then stock. If you put on some 2 into 2 Khrome Works exhaust it has a nice deep rumble when you get on it and it isn’t annoyingly loud. And get it properly tuned with a power visions the Haley tuner is garbage. Stage 2 is the best bang for your money. Definitely won’t be disappointed

    Hello. That's a nice bike. I have a question. My motorcycle is fltrx which was shipped in 22 years. I usually run from 1500 rpm to 3500 rpm. What kind of camera is right for me? 475? 465?
    Does 475 have a severe fever? I want to change the camera and feel the vibration and sound more shaky than the pure sound and vibration. Like an old bike. Is the 475c cam effective after 2500 rpm? Does the 465c cam have a good effect from 1500 rpm?
    Thank you for reading the question and please reply. Have a nice day.

    • @HudsonMoto
      @HudsonMoto  Год назад +1

      Personally I would go with the s&s 475 cam. You increase your horsepower and your torque. Peak torque hits at 3500rpm.
      If you want your peak torque to come in a little lower then 3500rpm. I would get the Redshift 468 cam by zipper’s performance.
      You can not go wrong with either one. And to get the best results make sure you get it professionally tuned.
      Thanks for watching

    I love Harley Davidson bikes, I have owned 3 in my lifetime with my current one being a M8 107 Street Glide special. But here and now in 2023 HD bikes are overly complicated and outdated designs. Pushrods, primary chains, lifters, 3-hole oil fill, and drainage. The discontinued engine by Victory now owned by Polaris did away with all the parts that caused problems as did other bike manufacturers such as eliminating pushrods, eliminating primary chain, using full counterbalancing, full water cooling, smooth shifting manual transmission with no clunk sound, chain driven overhead cams.
    HD has just been trying to sell the outdated 1940s/1950s design forever until they came out with their Revolution Max format that will take over the entire line if HD is to move forward with a less labor intensive power plant.

    All RUclipsrs have this one thing in common.....they lose me in the preamble. Too much chatter, instead of getting right into it after the intro. I'm not sure whether this to lengthen the time of the video. But I think it makes more sense to miss the audience with all the jibberish, and irrelevant commentary. I'm willing to BET that their listening audience will magically increase by very noticeable margins.
