  • Lance Stroll hasn't exactly set the world alight with his performances in F1 but is he really that bad of a driver and is he the weakest link that is holding the Aston Martin team back ? Watch out video to find out how Lance ended up in F1 in the first place and to hear our thoughts on the future of the Canadian Driver.
    As always thanks for watching and remember to like and subscribe for further F1 videos ! All of the support is massively appreciated.

    He was good enough to compete in all those other series. The trouble is, "good enough" isn't good enough for F1.

      You are good enough in a feeder series when daddy owns the team, gives team orders, and fitted the car with illegal parts supplied by Williams F1.
      There is no way serious investors like Aramco, and Honda will put up with this.
      Lawrence is already dumping stock. Odds are he takes his ball and goes home.

    I would love to see Lance do well in his current team. However, i don't see him as a world championship material, like Hamilton or Alonso or Verstappen. Lets see how the AMR - Honda relationship pans out in the future! Who knows he might do well, or he might consider racing in other categories, rather than F1. Good luck to him!

      LOL You just put Lance Stroll in the same sentence as Hamilton, Alonso, and Verstappen.

    Not to mention he’s off the pace of TSUNODA! But to be fair he might top Alonso too given how not good the AMR24 is

    I believe he has what it takes , but he should hire a driving coach to help him make better decisions while on the track. I feel he is just too inconsistent

    He hasn't improved enough. He has had flashes of being a good driver, but he hasn't taken the next step.

    Lance is a freaking disgrace for the sport!!!
    Any other driver would have been sacked from the team because of (very) poor performance and writing off cars left and right.
    His podium finish in Baku was more due to DNF's of other drivers than it was on merit.

    • @ross-carlson
      @ross-carlson 6 дней назад

      Holy shit, a race with 17 DNFs, wow - what race was that again? I wonder how many single seaters you've driven......

    • @marcbeek1619
      @marcbeek1619 6 дней назад

      @@ross-carlson You couldn't find your reading glasses there gramps?
      Where does it say 17 DNFs in my comment?
      My wheelchair is a single seater, does that count? I'm in it on a daily bases.
      The race in Bake where the window licker had his 3rd place finish had 7 DNFs, that's just over a third of the grid. Räikkönen, Verstappen and Perez were amongst them, they scored 100 point or more that season. Hamilton and Vettel, the number 1 and 2 of that season, finished 5th and 4th because they had a run in of their own during the ending of a SC that race.
      So as you can see, if you have your glasses on, it takes 7 DNFs ánd an at that time 3 and 4 time world champion not to finish on the podium for the son of the boss to end up on the podium. And even than he manages to fuck up a 2nd place.
      So no, Stroll boy doesn't deserve a seat in F1!

    • @chrisccc22
      @chrisccc22 5 дней назад

      @@marcbeek1619 Not just 7 DNFs. 7DNFs in the upper field, which allowed him to move up the order. That podium was total luck.
      Look at what he did in Monaco this week. Alonso held up the field so the "Window Licker" would get a free pitstop. All he had to do was keep it on the road. Once again, he hit the wall in Monaco. Only once this time though.
      If you put walls up on an F1 track, lance is guaranteed to hit them. Yes I agree with @ross-carlson comment. Single seaters are tough to drive. But this is Lance's 8th season. Anyone else they would be long gone. He must be a sock account working for Aston Martin. There is no way anyone who knows anything about F1 would justify the "Window Licker".

      @@ross-carlson Oliver Bearman Showed up in Jeddah taking pole for the F2 race. Little known to him, Carlos would be rushed to the hospital. He had 45 minutes worth of practice and put the car in 11th place on the grid. He then went on to score points. 7th place. Didn't hit any walls.
      Did you see the rookie mistake the 8 year seasoned veteran of F1 made? The same rookie mistake he always makes when walls a thrown up on an F1 track.
      I've read your comments boosting this clown. Might I suggest a video of Every Single Lance Stroll Crash?
      You'll see he does not belong in F1.

      I do agree that Lance is not FI material he doesn't appear to have the talent or he is not hungry to become champion Lance needs to improve on his performance giving interviews It didn't do Lance any favours with the public showing Lance pushing one of Aston Martin mechanic out of the way Lance needs to show that he can be likeable in FI

    For winning the F3 title he deserved that chance in 2017, though he only got it cause Williams needed his daddy's money.
    So has he deserved to be in F1 in 2017? Yes!
    Does he deserve to be in F1 for 8 years now? NO!

    I think that Stroll deserved his place for his first 3 or 4 seasons in F1, but after that it is only his father's money keeping him in, though he may still be good enough for a back marker team. I don't think he's the worst driver on the 2024 grid. Magnussen, Zhou and Sargeant deserve a seat less than Stroll does.

    He is good. But he isn’t a top 50 driver world. There are a lot of drivers that deserve a place but don’t have daddy owning a team. So on that basis no he doesn’t. Let’s be honest Without his dad he wouldn’t have a seat in F1

    Even Michael Schumacher said "Am I the most talented driver? Certainly not - there are probably people I drive past on the motorway who are more talented who never got the opportunity to race in F1". Are there more talented drivers than Lance who are not in F1? Certainly. Might they be here if their father owned a Formula One team? Of course. But he has shown many times that, at his best, he is capable of competing at a very high level and has made the most of his opportunity.

    The funny thing about Stroll is the hate he gets - all from guys that absolutely could NEVER drive any formula car, let alone a F1 car. I've driven a fair bit of single seaters and let me tell you driving then is FUCKING HARD. So I just love seeing guys hate on him that have never raced anything let alone driven a single seater. The fact is the guy can absolutely drive - but is never going to be an F1 champion or race winner.

      That is a very fair comment mate, “armchair critics” are always great fun aren’t they 🤣 I did a bit of racing back in the day and it is amazing to see how many people who thought they were fast, suddenly realise that they are not ! (That includes me btw😂) Having said that I find “Glance Stroll” really hard to like or appreciate .
