Sometimes people can just be having a bad day or sometimes it can actually be a measurement for saying “this content is actually not very good” ha! Mommy2Malykai I definitely agree with your second comment that music does not require a synthesizer. Just to clarify though-there are no synthesizers used in this video. There are electronics used like triggers/soundFXs, pads and there is a vocal vocoder used...but no synthesizer. The irony is that every form of musical instrumentation I used in this video is used in the majority of modern Worship Music and Christian music- and I know this because we are licensed to access to all the stems of the majority of the Christian music you hear on the radio or Spotify and so we hear EVERY track that is created and everything listed above is extremely common in those mixes (yes, even/ESPECIALLY the vocal vocoder). I may have made the “electronic” parts more dominant and easier to hear in this particular video mix, but there is nothing “new under the sun” when it comes to producing Christian music in this video that isn’t widely used.
Your first statement is not accurate. If you don’t like something, that’s one thing (and it is normal to not like everything musical), but to say something is not music when it fits all the requirements of the literal definition of music is inaccurate.
