I was brought up in an old church with the old hymns just like the video. I am Pentecostal and we would shove back the pews and let the Holy Ghost move. And then the Word would flow. And no one wanted to leave. And sometimes we didn´t. We would sit under the Word of God till the early morning hours and get out just in time to go to school or work and do it all over again.We could not wait to go back to church. Today I still hold that same desire. I am now old and can not run the isles or shout for hours on end, so I hold on to a chair and Bless His Holy Name, and delight in those who are young enough to run and shout in my place. But I can still sit and listen to the Word of God flow out for hours on end. Alot of Pentecostals now call themselves non-denominational. They have lost their fire and desire for the restraining truth of the Word of God. I have been called a Legalist. I´ll take that and I will run with that. I was young in this thing and now I am old in this thing. The Fire dwells from within and the Word has brought me from a long way off. I am almost home now. I will either go by the undertaker or the up taker (rapture). Either way Lord Jesus, it has been an honor and a privilege. You took this old sinner saved by Grace and fenced her in for a life time of joy and delight. Thank you ´Hope for Eden´ for shaking my remembrance to the beginnings of my wonderful journey with Christ. After 50 years He has never wavered or changed. Times may change, buildings of Worship may change, friends and even family come and go. Life is in constant motion and change. But Jesus Christ is an ever constant source of unwavering stability and hope. He does not change. His Grace never changed. His restraining Word has never changed. His Mercy has never changed. If I had it to do all over again, this once 15 year old girl would chose to find herself on her cousins kitchen floor at 3 o´clock in the morning in snot and tears crying out to a Savior she did not know she needed until He drew her to the Cross. You know, we Christians are not enemies. We are all bound by a common thread. That thread is not doctrine.........it is the Blood.

I'm going through a very tough time with depression and anxiety, please Jesus heal me. You said I'm healed because of your stripes of your precious blood. I'm so grateful to have a savior who cares and loves me despite of my sins. Oh Lord please take away my inequities. Praise the Lord in the highest.

O how He loves u. He's always waiting for us to come to him and talk with Him. U start by telling Him that u love Him and that u r sorry for all the sin u have committed and ask Him to forgive u. Ask Him to wash u clean in His precious blood. And that u want Him to come into ur life. Every time u sin be quick to ask for forgiveness. Get to know Jesus and when we do we fall in love with Him more and more and sin we will grow to hate. Read Mathew Mark Luke and John. Ask Holy Spirit to give u a hunger to read the Bible and to enlighten u as u read. He will walk with u and He will talk with u all day long. Having a personal relationship with Him is so wonderful, but remember it takes two to have one. Blessings to u Kevin

Just as I am was the song that was playing when I gave my life to Jesus, I was 9 at Calvary Baptist church in Port Acres Texas in 1968. I wanted to do it but I didn’t you know, I was with a neighbor an his family, alter call was so moving an I had my eyes closed an the battle was on called by the lord an the devil saying you don’t want to do this every one will be looking at you an they know what you’ve done . So pecked an I was blocked in , an then my argument was I can’t I can’t get through, an then the next thing I knew I was standing in the alter an as I looked around with that gentle stern voice he said I got you this for now the rest is up to you. So I gave my life to Jesus, my savior my shield my fortress my king
