I am using Xiegu G90 and use FLRig for WSJT..some people suggest when using FLrig, choose ICOM 7100 for XieguG90 coz same address..so in Log4OM, we select hamlib->FLrig and forced CI-V?
Gosh, I truly don’t know the answer to that. I would say experiment until you find something that works. If it’s not necessarily what other people recommend, that’s ok…it just means you found a new way to do it! :)
A quick RUclips search shows that folks are indeed able to connect Flex radios to Log4OM. Just do a search on RUclips and you should be headed in the right direction. Thanks for watching! 73!
Hello. What is your WSJT-X settings under. File. Settings. Radio, for Rig and Baud Rate on your video presentation when you were using a Icom IC7300. Thanks, John
Rig is Icom IC-7300, Baud rate 115200, Port is Com3. This is for my setup, but it could be different for yours. Also, and this is very important, the radio itself needs to be setup properly. I have a preset that came with it called FT8 that is accessed by hitting the Menu button, going to page 2, tapping Preset, and choosing it. Ham Radio DX has a superb video at ruclips.net/video/C04RPz4PuVk/видео.html that will walk you through everything. Highly recommended. I hope this helps! 73 de N8VOX
Thanks for the great tutorial on Log4om. You were quick on the contest mode. On thing I can't figure is where to insert the numbers given to me in a contest( your 59 and ❓241❓). wonder I you would know.
We had Romper Room here in the UK growing up in the 60s. I even remember the presenter’s name. Great video! I’m back into Amateur Radio after a long break and thought I’d give logging software a try. I’ve tried a few and LOG4OM is the best option for me thus far. Is there a way to get CW Integrated with FLDIGI? I’m running an IC-756Pro and I’ve tried using port splitters, FLRIG, OMNIRIG, etc to no avail. It works great with WSJT-X via Hamlib but not the aforementioned. Thanks, Alan
Thanks for your kind words, Alan! I honestly don’t know the answer to your question but I will ask it on my next livestream and see if we can get some answers.
my windows 7 , IC7300, wsjtx, log4om, all work fine. But my signal on screen shows no time at all on all contacts. i would think even if off few seconds it would dhow up? WA7sfe Bob
Hi Bob! So sorry it's taken awhile to reply. I keep forgetting! The time really is critical for FT8. I use a little utility called Network Time at www.timesynctool.com/ I have it set the time every 15 minutes. I hope that helps!
We really need a video in English and not computer jargon. Some of us OM don't know what 95% of the items just mentioned so can't set it up. Nice try but watched 3 times and gone back to paper. Can't even upload my existing log.
I've been thinking for the longest time how to reply to this comment. After watching it again, I don't think I used much jargon at all. Log4OM is one of the easiest software loggers to install and use. There are literally hundreds of tutorials on RUclips for it. I prefer Amateur Contact Log from N3FJP. Maybe give that a demo and see if that works better for you. The support from N3FJP is stellar as well. Good luck and 73!
Tnx a lot for the tutorial Anthony, it was great for a beginner like me. Best wishes frm France
You're very welcome!
Thanks for getting me started in LOG4OM ! Great video!
Glad to hear it! 73!
Great tutorial on Log4OM Anthony !
Thanks! It’s very introductory and surface, but folks really interested can get started here and dive as deep as they want.

Thank you so much for watching! 73!
I like the looks of the program. I would like to use it with my Flexradio. Don't know if this is possible, do you know if it is? thanks great video!

I truly don’t know, but I wonder if anyone has it running with WINE yet.
Thanks for showing set up with the cat control as I wondered why I had to manually put the frequency. De g1gdb

@@n8vox lot of words to say nothing
Junk program nothing worked
Maybe try N1MM or N3FJP. The good news is there are plenty of options today.
