Being mostly unfamiliar with anything other than the basics of GridTracker, this was a great video for me to follow along to configure and understand many of the features I wasn't aware of.
Good stuff, Tom! I'm thinking I might have to get back into FT8 again. I've been away from it for a while. I started out on the FT-857D and moved to the FT-991A a couple years ago. Thanks for doin' whatcher doin', sir! 🤠
Dear Tom. Thankyou for the informative video. Unfortunately, when I expand my call roster, I cannot find a "more Controls". It is very difficult to see your curser as it is beneath the video label that youtube adds. Bob ve3obo
Would you be willing to share a screen shot of your Settings > Colors tab of WSJTX? I really like the simplicity of how yours look but I am not sure how to make those changes. Thanks.
Iknow you make bucks on this but I wish I could receive check lists conxerning settings. It is much easier to follow the instructions from check lists.
more windows and less radio . So hard to see and the radio is just taking prime real state. That said good video . Thanks for taking the time. Trying to follow along but...
Get out of all the programs. Bring them up in this order. 1st WSJTX, then Gridtracker, last N3FJP…. make sure that under WSJT ssettings, reporting tab, UDPs are set how I showed them. In GT general tab, verify the settings and that it is showing you connected to WSJT-x, and in N3FJP, the ADI is ONLY set to receive WSJTx, no other ADIs set. Let me know if this helps

Glad it helped
Thank you for the informative video. Followed along in application, which was very helpful. Lots of useful information.

Are you sure… seemed like just a couple of months ago…. I’m old, time doesn’t move the same way it used to
Whenever you have some time ..would it be possible to take a look at setting up wsjt-x / jtalert & grid-tracker to work in sync? (Yaesu 991a)
I can do that.
