What made the joker such a great villian in the dark knight was he created a situation and let it play out. That's why hes called the agent of chaos. What made raas ah ghul such a good villian was his plain was simple and it was easy to carry out, same with scarecrows plan. Get a bomb and destroy Gotham, scarecrow tested his drug on Arkham asylum patients then made the drug there then wanted to spread it across the city using the air. What made bane so good was he just carried out raas's plan but made Gotham helpless because their symbols of hope were gone. What isnt good is lex Luthor. His plan has so many details in it and the audience has to keep following along and most people couldnt do it. It was too much. And they built the whole movie like it was gonna be batman vs superman, it was about 10 minutes of that then they just fight doomsday all of sudden. They messed that up royally, which Zack snyder is good at. Just look at parts of the justice league.

When i first saw the trailer ,i nearly cried. A dream come true. I took a 6hr train to watch this movie as it was not shown in our area. I was amazed by my first watch. After re watching it again on small screen, i began to see the flaws in this movie. So much potential, so little effort. Studio meddling can mess a dream.
As I watch these (and every) reaction to these trailers and the films themselves it's unbelievable and almost impossible to fathom how James Gunn could decide it wasn't worth it to continue making these DC films.
I doubt it, it all depends if the lousy director zack snyder returns to direct a movie or WB goes to work and looks for someone who does know how to direct a movie.

The best thing in JL was the ancient fight between Earth gods and Steppenwolf and I believe that was straight from what Snyder envisioned.
