One of the greatest trailers I’ve ever seen. The hype was unreal after this. I still remember it so vividly.
this trailer was great. But then later trailers revealed Doomsday and the team-up between batman, superman and wonder woman, which pretty much spoiled the movie

BVS is not just about a story about a broken Superman, but also a broken Batman. Both have seen traumatic lose, I love Zack for not just making a story by using hand movement or words, he also uses it through the eye of the camera..I really love It

WB, you see all those happy faces, all the hopes? you fucking ruined everything
After all the hate with DC Films, I think the mistake DC made was no not make an introduction to Ben Affleck’s Batman with its stand alone film. So then this movie can come out, it would be shorter, less disorganized, and more based on the title itself; but most importantly it would fit well into what would come next: Wonder Woman.
After WW, then you can introduce Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg. Therefore have the Justice League and Suicide Squad.
But Marvel already had the advantage and DC (Warner Bros.) didn’t want to wait it out. It’s sad, because with the Zach Snyder’s style of film, DC’s films would have been what DC is: greedy, dirty, dark, twisted, full of heart, crazy storylines, and more.

Maybe for me watching this give me goosebumps every time a masterpiece(from comic book reader) perspective for me the best comic movie off course it had flaws but the build up the performance the hype was just different

Every now and again i come back to these mashup videos (bvs teaser/bvs comic con/suicide squad comic con) and think back to what these movies SHOULD'VE, COULD'VE, WOULD'VE STARTED for DC had they lived up to the hype. But it was just not meant to be... Now here in 2021, the DCEU's last cinematic hope to picking up the pieces in continuity from this COLOSSAL "DROP THE BALL" way of consistency relies on THE FLASH and THE MULTIVERSE... Who would ever think it'd play out like this at this particular time.

The hype that this trailer made back in the day was surreal and speechless. Zack Snyder should be the Kevin Feige of DC Studios.

But I always love this especially the ultimate edition
Don’t give a shit what anyone says to this day. If you’re a true fan, you understand. This trailer gave us the first cinematic shot in history of Batman and Superman standing together… and good God is it still epic to this day.
The sad thing about this is that it was the height and peak of comic book movie hype. Aside from Infinity War and Endgame there won’t be hype for a movie like this ever again

Even though the story is sketchy, it is interesting that it is the movie that is best handled as a comic book. I still get excited while watching the trailer.

Listen to that dialogue, it’s actually sad that you had adults complaining that the movie didn’t have enough levity. A fantastic psychological thriller in the form of a superhero movie.
The hype was insane for this movie. It was never going to live up to its expectations. The biggest comic superheroes of all time going against one another….. so much potential.
