I completely agree. There really should be a section for movies adults might like as well. Not that a lot of the pics are and Disney movies aren't good for people of all ages but it would help with the perception that only things for kids are found on the app.
There's a lot of buzz about this anyway and it's true they don't want to add too many things to that section based categorization because of your list will get along and fast throughout the years and they might have future plans for other categories but there should be an easy way to open a section with nothing but movies with humans and them to separate all the animation and other content.
This is a big topic of discussion about the app still. Who knows what they will do in the future but I think at some point they will do something about this. It's wanted too badly by so many.

With Encanto being the 60th animated Disney film, I want to have a marathon of all theatrical animated Disney films, but only Make Mine Music is missing. It needs to be on here!
They should release Song of the South on Disney plus with a explanation or warning at the beginning so that it can be rereleased. It takes place during reconstruction in a sharecropping community.

This movie was off the market for years (I have seen it though.) They should have a banned movies week where they put it on Disney+ instead of permanently keeping it on there.

It's on Amazon prime in the uk anyway. Spotted it two days after I posted this then watched it. It will be on disney plus in the uk as soon as the rights run out on amazon.

Weird cause while the princess bride was made by 20th century Fox, it has since been under the ownership of MGM who has been taken credit for the movie and even replacing the Fox logo with there’s. I guess now Disney owns it again
Technically MGM *ONLY* has the home video rights to Princess Bride but 20th Century Fox/20th Century Studios had the Theatrical and Streaming distribution for the film.
However in international markets, the ownership of Princess Bride is messy due to it being owned by different companies (some of them defunct) internationally which would likely explain why Princess Bride isn't on Disney+ in certain International markets
And Disney bought 20thC Fox in 2019.
