    I loved “The Last Duel.” I thought it was extremely well-made and enjoyed watching all the subtle details in the stories, based on the perspectives of the main characters. I believe it had an important message to tell and did so in an effective way, as well. The fact that it was delayed during COVID and released when “The House of Gucci” was is part of what killed it, in my view.

      @@vuraxis953 The Last Duel got marketing, but the problem was that the only trailers released (at least here in Canada) didn't say anything about what the plot was. It just advertised the stars to get people to see it. But, it doesn't matter how many known names are in it. Audiences want to know what the story is and no one saw it. If the marketing was better, then I think it would have done better.

    • @genki2705
      @genki2705 7 дней назад

      The movie is divided into three perspectives. How is it a different perspective of each person when the dialogue was the same. From the point of view of the characters, every conversation and event should have been different, as nobody remembers the exact words and every character processes information differently. Imagine having three interpretations of the same event. But what we got is only a slightly different camera view.

    • @smoothALOE
      @smoothALOE 6 дней назад +1

      @@genki2705 that’s not completely true. As I recall, there were more than just minor camera angle variations. Specific, important details were diametrically different and there were some spoken details that changed, as well. I’d suggest rewatching it, but I also have to admit that I didn’t like it as much the second time around, either.

    I feel sorry for Maddie Ziegler the most.
