This song stole a 4 year old girl’s heart the first time she heard her Mom play “4.” Forty years later it still does. Has always been a hypnotic, magical song to me. That entire album is otherworldly, my favorite to this day. ✨💜🌔
I'm a huge original Foreigner and Lou Gramm fan, and I personally give these guys kudos for this - sounded great to me, and Kelly has Lou's vocal tonality naturally, so I for one am glad they picked him. I've spent years on a stage and know all too well, it's a lot easier to listen and complain than it is to do ... just sayin'.
John I liked how you tried to explain this. I loved Foreigner from when it first began and even more now. I'm so tired of the people who want and like Lou more than Kelly. When Kelly gives his all. So much energy, emotions put in every song, humor and once in awhile I can see why some audiences might make him angry as he tries to not let it get to him. I love his voice and how he captivates my attention. Looking sexy yet he just has that something about him you want to know. He's a leader and confident. He can look tired in his eyes at times. Fame has to take a heavy tole on his life. The songs and music are so good to begin with. I'm older now but I sure wouldn't be like some of their audiences that barely respond and move. The whole band gives their all I feel.
New songs like "When it comes to love" sound very nice, but hearing the old work from the Gramm era redone, I can't do otherwise than shake my weary head in dissatisfaction. Gramm put that certain "tragic" feel in this song, which exactly made it so outstanding, just like he put that kind of unmistaken urgency in "Urgent", and I don't find it back here in the voice of his successor. It are such "small" nuances that exactly make the difference between a very good and an excellent singer. And since better than just very good is available, why settle for less ?
I love this song as driving work in morning. I sometimes see moon still out as driving to work wish i could go moon someday. Great song thank you for share it.
It's really amusing trying to listen to a live version, when you know that the final mix was slowed down by 1/16 note. So the chords that they are playing of shark compared to his is locals and sometimes it sells downright weird.
My favorite song from such an awesome album. Thanks so much for posting this! I am slow to find this but super appreciate it.
So glad they thought enough of this song to play it live. It’s incredibly underrated. As is a alot on the 4 album
Great share, thanks!
@Joe C…I agree.. totally underrated song by Foreigner…its such a beautiful melody..

Hey Yeah!!!
One of my all time favorite songs of Foreigner. My love seems to be there almost every day. I really miss her, but still she is there at least.
My all time fav Foreigner song. Great version, but I miss the angst of Lou's vocal when he sung "It was her, and she was gone" .
My fav song 💓 🎵
I love this song
Wow! Probably my favorite song from them.
The original studio version featuring Thomas Dolby and Bob Mayo blows away this unplugged version.
Great song!
Love the drummers t shirt.
