Thank u for making this video. Well done. I have been rehabbing homes for years and do most of the plumbing myself. This is a very sensible product, and I can see many uses for it.. Less joins, less opportunity for leaks , ez set up for the trap. Just make sure the trap isn’t too far below the drain you’re connecting to and should be easy gone for the water flow.
You are really excellent at explaining.
I could listen to his voice all day
Thank you so much for sharing this. You helped me solve my shampoo bowl problem.
This is actually super helpful, our S-trap bathroom sink pipes broke and the drains aren't aligned and i haven't been able to fix it with a normal s trap kit or the plastic flexible tubing (which is not nearly as flexible as i need).
those flimsy plastic drains are horrible, I used those prior and twice it broken on the same job within a week. Unless they are the normal thick PVC. I used this silicone one in this project seen here. Precisely what you said, because it didn't align in 2 of the 3 axis.

@@PoolarityChannel yes exactly like in that video, it's just a few inches with our sink. The pipes would connect but can't screw on. I've been struggling with getting our sink working for like two weeks now. My simple drain will be delivered so I'm looking forward to finally fixing it 😂
Simple Pain would be a better name for it! It's so tempting to get a simple fix but this one doesn't simplify the process as the part that attaches to the drain doesn't seal great!
Give it a few spanks now and then , don't use 4 kitchen sinks, and use dawn, and always have a filter above the trap 2 catch the hairs etc. Will never clog.
How is it going? i can't get in touch with you.
bro said mm fuckit im not gonna show what it looks like forcing the tube through the little ass 1.4 adapter
Apparently these are illegal and are just novelties. You are not supposed to use them. And they clog easily.
They are not illegal, they just won't pass a code inspection. But not against the law, as it's sold in Home Depot, Lowes and other hardware stores
This flex trap is against the plumbing code
Doesnt mean its not a good effective fix. It a plumbing code violation because the plumbing industry doesnt like simple DIY. It's really that simple.
Don't believe everything your fed. Plumbers if given the choice would rather solder a water supply valve making it more difficult for the homeowner to DIY. That's one instance. There are many others.
Plumber here in SC wanted to charge me $540 to put in a simple new drain pipe and p-trap. Ridiculous. I passed. Bought a similar one to these on Amazon for $25 bucks. Works perfectly. So easy to install. I will spend the other $515 on something else. Hell with the code.
Fuck the plumbing code.
Dude you talk to much just show how it works
