FIXED!! Kenmore Dishwasher Chopper Assembly Repair Replacement -- FAST, CHEAP, & EASY

Today I repair my Kenmore dishwasher that was plagued with a whining, grinding noise and was not cleaning my dishes well along with nor draining either. I figured out the problem was the dishwasher's Chopper Assembly, which is responsible for chopping up any remaining food from the dishes after a rinse cycle. My blade broke and plastic was grinding and not food was able to get out of the dishwasher, resulting in a clogged drain and dirty dishes along with grinding noises. The repair was fairly simple, only requiring a part found online for less than $10. I will link where I found the part at the bottom of the description. I hope this helps you guys, it sure helped me out!

Great video and share! Only problem is the chopper you installed looks like it doesn't use a stainless steel spring? This should fail in a year or less due to rust. Did this part get updated? Or have you observed any issues?

You're lucky, my Maytag has the chopper INSIDE the circulation pump mounted under the dishwasher. I just took it off and found the chopper screen completely full of junk and detached from the rest of the assembly and the craziest part? The chopper blades are ALL missing, and I have no idea where they went!
