EASY & FAST Lawn-Boy Self Propelled Mower Drive Belt Replacement 4K

This video will show you how to replace the drive belt of your Lawn-Boy self-propelled mower quick and easily. This whole job should only take 20 minutes if you have all of the tools in front of you. The drive belt of a mower should be replaced if the belt is cracking, is slipping, or completely broken. This is not an expensive fix and can be easily done at home. This particular model is a Lawn-Boy 10642, however, this should work for any Lawn-Boy or certain Toro self-propelled mowers with rear-wheel drive.

Tools I Used:
3/8" Socket
3/8" Open-end wrench
9/16" Socket
Cordless Impact Driver
#2 Square Head Screwdriver

Mine self propels but wheel continue to spin preventing mower from rolling back. Would belt being too tight be my problem? Mower was given to me.

On my 6.5 duraforce lawnboy', the engine has to be removed from the mower deck. What a pia.
