I sooo appreciate your having taken the time to share this “HOW TO!” Your approach of calm, cool ,collective and knowledge empowered me to give it a much needed try…..this has never been done……Kenmore shows NOTHING! If this 63 year old single mom can do this…..anybody can…..with your guidance! Wish all You Tubes were this good!
I dread DIY videos, preferring printed instructions, but your video presentation was top notch: clear, perfectly-paced, well-shot. And thank you so much for this money-saving procedure!
This video just saved me a small fortune. My 6 and 4 year olds ran back and forth from my computer to the dishwasher telling me what to do. Great team work all around. Thank you very much.
Like so many have said...fantastic, very informative, simple! One thing I like to do when disassembling something like this when removing screws above the "works" in the bottom is to place a towel over the bottom to catch any loose screws, preventing them from landing in a hole or crevice below. The lower screws you remove don't seem to pose that risk. Once again, wonderful, instructional video....YOU ROCK!!
Thanks for the video! I was able to save myself a repair call and get to the chopper assembly and check valve after watching your video. The dishwasher is 15 years old, and I didn't want to pay someone to fix it. Will need to replace it sooner than later, but so great to give the filtering and chopper area a good clean. They were not pretty. Dishwasher is working like new again! My husband is impressed with my DIY skills ;)
I had trouble getting the cover back on the chopper assembly. The steel mesh has to fit just so into a slot on the cover and it was pretty hard for me to know if I got it right.
Five years ago, my wife and I used this video to help us clean our dishwasher, for which we give huzzahs to this day. But it finally needed another cleaning, and this time, we not only had the video, we had our 7-year-old grandson, who somehow already knows stuff. He "helped", i.e. he did the work, often explaining what needed to be done before we got there on the video. So it appears there is a future iScaper in our family!
Thank you so much! You have just saved me so much hassle with repairs and dirty dishes. The step by step led me through it perfectly. Now, I have clean dishes, and my children have learned a lesson in home repair.
Thank you so much for this video! I've never fixed any appliance myself in my life and I was disgusted by my dishwasher... started searching online how to clean it and found your video. It was well filmed and each step explained fully. Saved me $ too!
I looked around on the web and couldn't find anything helpful, so I decided to try youtube. I found your video and followed your process, and now the dishwasher works great. I love people like you. Thank you so much!
My dad aka Pops aka my "fix everything guy" passed away a few years ago. I miss him even more when things don't work and I know he could fix them. After crying for a bit I went on line and found your video. It was like he was here with me! Thanks so much! Pops thanks you too for helping me!
The quality of your video, the pace of your voice when describing the steps you're going through and the effectiveness of the procedure, are great. Our 4-year old QuietGuard Kenmore dishwaher started producing a loud noise through the entire washing cycle, like if something was stuck inside. The dishwashr cleaned the dishes fine, but the noise was just annoying. After executing the maintenance as you described here, it went back to normal operation. Thank you for uploading this video.
Wonderful video! Walked me through the full process including how to put everything back together. Foolproof and now my dishwasher is working like new again! Thanks!
Excellent tutorial. Better than the so-called professionals. Followed all your steps and found 14 plastic toothpicks in sump. They weren't going anywhere. Thanks.
We were able to save our dishwasher thanks to your instructional video! Once we followed your video and opened the bottom of the washer, buried grime and blockages were the obvious cause of all our headaches. We were shocked to find so much previously undetected grime in there -- and it was circulating onto our utensils and dish surfaces. Thank you for a "new" dishwasher and a healthier home!
Thank you so much for making this video. I was having a loud buzzing sound coming from the bottom of my dishwasher whenever it was in the wash cycle. Following your instructions, I found a tootpick jammed into the disposal in the sump area. Works great now! You saved me hundreds of dollars and days of washing dishes by hand while I waited for a service call.
Thank you so much for providing this video. I had the same problem and after watching it I was able to fix the problem myself. You saved me from calling a repair person.
Just wanted to thank you. This video happens to be the same model dishwasher as my own. We were having the same problem and following your video I fixed the thing! We're getting sparkling clean dishes again. Thank you for taking the time to share this!
Can't thank you enough for this video. We have the identical washer and had the same problem. With the excellent instructions from this video, the wife and I easily fixed the problem. You saved us quite a bit of money. Thank you so so much.
After cleaning the drain, which I thought was causing the draining problem I had, I found your video. I did not know that the washer had a check valve. I'm checking that today. Thanks very much for taking the time to do this video. Larry
A huge THANK-YOU...I have the same dishwasher as the one in your vid..It was making a hell of a noise while washing.I found a piece of glass right where you found yours. The dishwasher is over 8 years old,and I initially assumed it was toast and was almost ready to buy a new one till I discovered your vid..You save me a lot...Thanks again..
Thanks so much for this video. My dishwasher had completely stopped spraying water, so I was heading out to buy a new one until I came across this video. Our glasses had been looking just like yours for the past couple months...covered in crud. So I followed your instructions and found that our food grinder was completely clogged. I cleaned it up and put it back in, and the spray arms are working like a charm. Thank you!
Thank you! This is our exact dishwasher and we had exactly this issue. Saved us $150 in a repair call and my husband had no trouble following your clear instructions. Thanks again!
Thank you for taking the time to post this video. The wife and I started hearing a noise that sounded like a stuck electric motor (or what I would think a stuck electric motor would sound like) the last time we ran the dishwasher. We followed you instructions which took about 30 minutes and found some broken glass, plastic, one bread tie, but no chicken bones. We did a test run and haven't heard any noise that sounded like having to buy a new dishwasher before its time. Thanks again.
Very helpful. My dishwasher wasn't cleaning dishes. The inside of the dishwasher was dirty. Followed your directions, which were accurate and simple, and now it it working.
My wife noticed a rattling sound in our dishwasher. Although our brand is different, the steps you outlined enabled me to disassemble our washer, find bits of broken glass, remove them, re-assemble, and return the washer to normal functionality. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. Thanks very much!
Thank you so much! It took us just half an hour from start to finish to clean out our Whirlpool dishwasher. We found price stickers, popcorn kernels, a few things we couldn't identify and the worst..... a thin round piece of plastic, about the size of a quarter that looked like it came from the top of a ketchup bottle was blocking the pump. It's a wonder it worked at all. We aren't very handy and this was easy because of the great instructions. Thanks again!
Awesome. Thanks so much. The dishwasher is not very good any more but hopefully this will help prolong the time of having to buy a new one. RUclips videos like this make it possible for people like me to try to fix/maintain things without having to rely on people in real life who don’t have time to do it. Or have to pay someone. Thanks again.
MORE household repair videos FASTER! This is an amazing, step by step video -- I am a 61 year old professional woman who just fixed her own dishwasher! Every step was thoroughly explained, including each tool needed - that is what gave me the confidence to fix it myself. I especially appreciate the steps to replace all of the parts. Thank you VERY much. I hope you make lots of money with your videos because you deserve it.
Omg. I love this.... I took my dishwasher apart and fixed it. Yes I feel like a rock star. I have a whirlpool dishwasher and it worked.... keep up the great work and keep posting things like this
It would change the world if everybody did “how to “ videos this way. Clear, concise, slow steady diction, good camera angles. Working at a good pace. And no cutsie vernacular.
Thank you!!!! My husband NEVER does diy fix-it but we found your video which he (and I occasionally) followed completing the task. We would add that our screen was completely covered with gunk that we had to steel wool off. Many thanks again!
Thanks for the video! Just followed your easy step by step process, and emptied out chicken bones, plastic bread clips, a random screw! (Not from the dishwasher) I appreciated how you took the dishwasher apart, found the problem, and your video had the steps to put it back together. Thanks for keeping the video up for 4 years! Subscribed.
what an amazing job you did in the step by step how to. Was easy to comprehend and you went slow enough for this novice home handyman and woman to accomplish the task.
You've come to my rescue again! I got it all apart, cleaned it, but couldn't find where the fourth hex screw went. I didn't want to take it apart to find out, so I just watched this vid. Thanks!!! Just s tip * label the hex key that fits and leave in the kitchen for future use*
I'm not a very swift DIY guy so I use this video often to take care of the problem and it makes the maintenance really easy. Really useful post! All the best!
Thank you for your awesome video. We have the exact model as in the video. Instead of finding chicken bones, we found incredible amounts of calcified mineral deposits all over everything. We also had to clear the upper arm of the stuff. Your video is the best "how to" video we have seen. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
My unit suffered from an unbearable rot smell and grinding noise- just by luck I have the same model you worked on! Followed your video step-by-step, pulled out an assortment of debris, reassembled and VOILA!!! Both problems solved! (As well as $100+ for a service call avoided!) THANK YOU!!!
Thanks! I watched several videos, and saved yours as the best when my husband and I tackled this job. Your directions were perfect and it worked like a charm. I can't believe the money I've spent on "top notch" dishwashing detergents and long turbo dishwashing cycles in (misguided) hopes that my dishes would finally come clean. If only your comments allowed photos, all your commenters could have a contest of who got the most disgusting things out of the bottom of their dishwashers. Disgustingly fascinating.
Thanks Amy, that's a great idea about a contest for who has the most disgusting items in their dishwasher sump. Let me see what I can come up with on that. Your feedback is appreciated also.
Great video. Very informative. My Kitchen Aid dishwasher was nearly identical to the one in your video. I just finished the cleanout and re-assembly. I found several pistachio shells and some plastic debris down near the sump. I'm running a load now. From the sound of the dishwasher, I can already tell that there is significantly more water flow during the wash cycles. Thanks again!
Very helpful video! My dishwasher had started making a loud grinding noise during the cycle, but not during the drain, which research told me could be something caught in the sump blade. I followed these steps and discovered a piece of broken glass had made its way to the sump, which I removed. The most helpful part of the video (one that other tutorials skip) was is pushing the sump cover to the right to pop it off. Mine was really stuck and I had to use a screwdriver to push it sideways.
Thank you! I have this same dishwasher, and it has been a smelly mess for quite a while now--not to mention, the dishes never come out clean and have a greasy white film on them. I followed the steps in your video and was HORRIFIED to see all of the disgusting gunk built up behind the water supply pipe, inside the filter screen, and in the sump itself! Took me nearly three hours to decrease and clean everything. Found bones, pits, and glass in the sump, too. Taking it apart and putting it back together was the easy part thanks to your video. Now, the dishwasher works like new and I am happy I don't have to replace it right now. Really, thanks again!
OMG!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.......This completely fixed our problem. Please keep this video up and running cause I'm sure I'll need to refer to it again. Again, Thank you for posting this easy to follow video. Your Amazing.
Thank you for posting this video. Our glasses were suffering the same fate, so I followed your directions and found a massive heap of caked-on gunk all over the sump. When I checked the depression, I ended up slicing open my finger on a shard of glass. It's funny how none of the servicemen who looked at the dishwasher bothered to look at the sump when we encountered this problem.
Fantastic. I watched the video a few weeks ago and today after having to rewash a few dishes I had to do something. I took my 11 year old Kenmore apart and found a host of stuff down in the sump. Wire ties, bones, hard plastic pieces and surprisingly the entire chopping blade cutter cover was clogged with what looked like scale from washing detergent. After a good cleaning and wiping down all the pieces removed, BTW they had years of gunk build up hidden from view as well, everything went back as expected and now I can hear so much more water spraying around in there it's amazing. Thanks again.
Thanks to your tutorial, I just saved the cost of a service call from an appliance repair technician. I didn't think that I was handy enough to fix my dishwasher, but the clear and thorough instructions made this possible. My dishwasher now works like new. Note: I have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III. It's just a little different from the model in the video, but it was easy to adapt to the differences.
Thanks so much for the information. I had no idea how to dismantle my dishwasher and your video was perfect. After watching your video I had it all dismantled, cleaned and back together in about an hour. I'm running a cleaning cycle right now as I write this. The funk that I cleaned out of my screen and sump was disgusting! This will definitely become part of my routine household maintenance from now on. Great job!!!
iScaper1 - YOU ROCK! You made this so easy even a girl can do it! I am the "think pink fix-it chick. I was ready to load my dishwasher into the trash heap. I figured the worst I could was break it. Right? Wrong! The chopper assembly and pump inlet thingy were full of junk clearly causing some grief and obliterating the water flow. It is really rewarding to "do-it" yourself. I am running around singing "I am woman hear me roar in numbers too...." I may not live through the day...I'll stop.
Thank you very much for posting your video. We were about to buy a new dishwasher as we were fed up with dirty dishes on the top rack, but saw your video. We followed your process (ours has the turbo zone, but the process is the same). Our dishes are perfectly clean now. You saved us many $$$$.
oh my gosh thank you so much. Was about to go buy a new dishwasher but decided to give your video a try. Found a lot of "stuff" in the bottom and fixed the problem. Not bad for a 47 year old woman who is pretty handy. Thank you.
Kerry, thanks so much for your knowledge and taking time to post your expertise. it was the exact problem I was having with the sump. I am sooo grateful plus the wife is happy.
Just followed your instructions for a Maytag. Looks almost identical inside, and it worked perfectly. Echoing the other comments. Great video, great teacher!
We have this same model of dishwasher. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for -- THANK YOU! It was honestly a little nauseating pulling that gunk out of there (olive pits, part of a plastic spoon, other unrecognizable schmutz), but the dishwasher is working like new. Again, THANK YOU!
I was getting a tad desperate - then I ran across your video, and I think I fixed my dishwasher problem based on this (listening to jets work that were once NOT right now). Thanks so much for posting it, pretty sure you helped me out of a jam.
Thanks for the easy to follow instructions. We have a Maytag and it was very similar. We were about to buy a new one and I figured the worst I would do was make not work at all. We must of fished out about a pound of mineral deposits and icky stuff and detergent. I will run it in the morning and see if I succeeded in putting it back together right. Thanks for putting up a video that made it so simple.
Yea, this is exactly like my dishwasher. No way I can do this, maybe in my younger days. But I know what a repair person should do. Great video, great instructions, now for my ice maker. A big thanks to you Mr IScaper1! 🤩
I was having a similar problem. My top rack wasn't spinning and only a certain spot on the bottom would clean. My father in law and I used your video to open my dishwasher and every part was covered in grease. Cleaned it out as much as we could. The filter attached to the chopping blade wouldn't come out, so we used a tooth brush as best we could. Ran a cycle and its now running like new. Repair guy said it would be an easily a $200 job. Thanks for saving me time and $$$$
Thanks, my washer started making noises when running and it had glass and some other odd items in the food chopper, also a lot of lime build up down there. Cleaned it out and it is working great!! Saved me $600!!! Mine is 9 years old and now running as good as new. Thanks again!
Thank you, well done! Exactly what I needed. We just bought a 2-year-old Maytag w/ stainless interior that had the same screen/ chopper and sump. I'm so proud that I was able to take the whole thing apart and take care of this myself, because it had plenty of gunk/pits/toothpick/beans/you-name-it in there, that was causing a not-so-fresh odor. I cleaned the whole interior with vinegar and the innards with a toothbrush, soaked up the dirty water down in the well with paper towels, then rinsed it by pouring water around the edges and then soaked that up until it was clear. The screen had some baked-on-sticky-goo that wouldn't come off with the vinegar, though, and I remembered I had some lemon essential oil that actually broke it down and it scrubbed off with the brush then. I sprayed the inside of the washer arms out with vinegar, too, and all sorts of food films flushed out when I rinsed it. I'll tell you what, I don't think anyone has ever had such a clean used dishwasher, lol. It looks and smells brand new. Thanks again.
I’m so glad hope it’s running good still! Love the stainless maytags I have one as well and had to do the same thing when I bought mine used, I even found a ziploc bag in the upper spray arm feed tube! It worked perfect after the full clean out as this video went over.
Thank you! We have exactly the same dishwasher with the same problem. Last time we spent $125 on a plummer to fix the same thing. Thanks to your step by step video, we were able to follow along easily and fix it ourselves.
I did this...it took about 20 minutes (I'm fairly mechanical) and solved the problem completely. The biggest hassle was getting the $#%&$!! caps off the ends of the sliders on the upper rack. Thanks for saving me a $200 service call or $700 to replace the unit.
Thank you so much for this video. Our dishwasher stopped cleaning well for several months. I've been googling on how to find out what's causing it to not clean the dishes for a while now and did not find anything until I stumbled on this video. After taking it apart, I removed a bunch glass and food debris in the sump area, was pretty nasty. I got it all put back together; and hopefully, it'll start cleaning the dishes again.
IT WORKED! Months of dirty dishes... and in just over an hour, after viewing your video, we feel like we have a new dishwasher. You just saved us a couple of hundred dollars I'm certain. We were also considering the purchase of a new dishwasher. Oh... also used a turkey baster to help remove the water from inside the sump. Lots of glass and food in there, can't imagine we actually had clean dishes... we will now! Thank you so much for your very informative video.
Thanks iScaper1! My washer has been under-performing for months. I'm lucky to have your exact model, so the tutorial was really easy to follow. The dishwasher is working great now.
Great video!! Our dishwasher has been leaving the same gunk in our glasses. I just followed this video myself, however I couldn't get the cover off of the chopper blade. I'm hoping everything else I did will solve our problem! I found lots of gunk and bones and did a very deep cleaning. I hope it helped! If not, I'll take everything apart and hope my husband can get the chopper blade cover off! THANK YOU!!
Thank you sooo much for this very easy to follow tutorial!!! My dishwasher has been making funny noises for awhile and wasnt spraying water. It sounded clogged, but i had no clue where to begin. We were going to buy a new one!! I JUST finished it and it sounds and runs great again!! I did this all while my husband was outside working on the yard and when he heard how great it ran I had to make sure this didn't make him feel less of a man...hahaha!!! Thanks again!
Awesome it worked!!! Thanks for the excellent video with your clear instructions and illustrations. Just as an added measure I flipped off the breaker switch to the dishwasher on my electrical panel. The most stressful part was taking off the chopper cover as mine was a bit different. A pair of pliers did the trick. Also a turkey baster helped around the sump. The big surprise was that the 12 year old chopper blade was worn down to almost nothing!!! I was able to replace this 30 dollar part and now the dishwasher works great!! Keep up your good work!!
iScaper1 Called Sears and they referred me to the local appliance repair shop and I gave them the model and part number to order however they had one in stock..lucky me...and the dishwasher works the best ever!!! Thanks so much for posting this video.
We have the exact model. Thank you So very much for taking the time to post such an informative step by step video. We took the machine apart for the first time and were totally empowered. So great!
Thank you so much, my diswasher was leaving a film on all my dishes also with a nasty odor. I did this and found my sup was full of little bedazzled diamonds my wife put on cups for a birthday party. Next cycles clean dishes and no smell...worked like a charm!!
Thank you so much, I wouldn't have managed without your video. Goldroad40, as for the chopper blade cover, my dishwasher has a second screw towards the front. I also needed needle nose pliers to remove the cover in a sort of clockwise rotation. Good luck to everyone, and thanks again.
This video just saved me an expensive repair visit. Mine was making a buzzing noise while the water was pumping. I found several pieces of glass in there and a chunk of wooden spoon. I could not get the check valve out but I cleaned it well and the noise is gone.
Thanks for the great and easy to follow video. I have a whirlpool but it is the exact same innards as your Kenmore. I used a spray nozzle from my hose and a Shop Vac to get everything out. Worked great. The dishes are now much cleaner. I wonder how many people just go buy a new machine when all it needs is a good cleaning.
Thanks for the help and boy were you right!!! I found all the requisite chicken bone material, gum wrappers, plastic toothpicks, plastic utensils, etc. It was pretty gross and that was only about 10 years worth! Good video and lots of help.
Thanks for this great video. This was my first attempt at appliance repair and I have the same dishwasher so the video was perfect. I really liked how you walked me thru putting things back together.
This video was incredible. I have the same model dishwasher and the steps were perfect and easy to understand. I think 6 hearing aid batteries clogged in the bottom were the culprit in my instance. Several were badly corroded and had started to have things growing on them so they had been there a while. Thank you for doing this
Yes, the spray arm does wobble when I spin it by hand. I think the water pressure keeps it from wobbling when in a wash cycle. Have you tried running the dishwasher since you put in the new piece? If the spray arm is threaded on correctly I think you might be ok. If things are not as they should be then you will hear a banging-clattering noise when you turn on a wash cycle.
Thanks, I am going to clean mine as soon as I get the correct screwdriver heads. You did such a great job explaining everything, including the reassembly. Much appreciated!
I've seen them advertised but don't know how well they work. We had hard water at our home plugging up faucet screens and leaving scale on our dishes so we went with a North Star single tank water softener. It cured our faucets plugging up and helped with the dishwasher also. I only have to add salt every couple of months.

Very kind, thank you. Every time we call a service technician it's over $100 just to have them walk in the door, then the price goes up from there.
After cleaning the drain, which I thought was causing the draining problem I had, I found your video. I did not know that the washer had a check valve. I'm checking that today. Thanks very much for taking the time to do this video. Larry
Let me know if the check valve was your problem.

Wow, you just made my whole day. Thanks for the feedback.
Omg. I love this.... I took my dishwasher apart and fixed it. Yes I feel like a rock star. I have a whirlpool dishwasher and it worked.... keep up the great work and keep posting things like this
The step by step was wonderful
We just saved 150$ in repair cost ... it was really maintenance but thank you because we were able to do it ourselves.

Thanks Veronica, I appreciate the feedback.
It would change the world if everybody did “how to “ videos this way.
Clear, concise, slow steady diction, good camera angles. Working at a good pace.
And no cutsie vernacular.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Thank you!!!! My husband NEVER does diy fix-it but we found your video which he (and I occasionally) followed completing the task. We would add that our screen was completely covered with gunk that we had to steel wool off. Many thanks again!
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Thanks Renee, your feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for the feedback. We were about to buy a new dishwasher also until I cleaned the sump.
Thank you thank you, this 70 year old woman followed your directions and my Kenmore is working again.
That's great, thanks for the feedback.
Thanks Abbie for the comment. I'm glad the video helped you save some money.
+Waboosegirl1
That's great, congratulations.
Christopher Klanica
That's great, I'm glad the video was helpful.
Fantastic, thanks for the feedback and the info on your Whirlpool dishwasher.
Are your dishes clean now?
iScaper1 - YOU ROCK!
You are a born teacher! Thank you! Now I gotta find a neighbor with the right kind of screwdriver. Thank you!!!!!
Thanks Barbara, I'm glad the video was helpful and thanks for commenting.
A glass Rubbermaid container shattered in my Kenmoore dishwasher. Thanks for this easy tutorial! It helped me get it back together!
Thank you very much for posting your video. We were about to buy a new dishwasher as we were fed up with dirty dishes on the top rack, but saw your video. We followed your process (ours has the turbo zone, but the process is the same). Our dishes are perfectly clean now. You saved us many $$$$.
That's great, congratulations.
oh my gosh thank you so much. Was about to go buy a new dishwasher but decided to give your video a try. Found a lot of "stuff" in the bottom and fixed the problem. Not bad for a 47 year old woman who is pretty handy. Thank you.
Thanks Suzy for the comments, we were about to replace our dishwasher also until I cleaned the sump.
Kerry,
thanks so much for your knowledge and taking time to post your expertise.
it was the exact problem I was having with the sump.
I am sooo grateful plus the wife is happy.
Thanks Carrie. It's nice to hear that the instructions in the video are helpful.
Just followed your instructions for a Maytag. Looks almost identical inside, and it worked perfectly. Echoing the other comments. Great video, great teacher!
Thanks Geoff for the feedback.
Thanks Mary. Sorry for you and your mom's loss.
Thank you, and one of the best how-to videos I've seen. You have a nice natural way of conveying the information as well as showing.
Thanks Jeff, I appreciate the feedback.
Que filtro é esse que deixa passar pedaços de colher de plastico e caroço de azeitona e vidros???
What is your model number? tia
Followed the same procedure to fix my KitchenAid Arch Series II unit - virtually the same design! Great narrative on the tools and steps. Thank-you!
Yea, this is exactly like my dishwasher. No way I can do this, maybe in my younger days. But I know what a repair person should do. Great video, great instructions, now for my ice maker. A big thanks to you Mr IScaper1! 🤩
Thanks Sharon, I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for saving me time and $$$$
$200, ouch. I'm glad you were able to fix it on your own.
Thanks, my washer started making noises when running and it had glass and some other odd items in the food chopper, also a lot of lime build up down there. Cleaned it out and it is working great!! Saved me $600!!! Mine is 9 years old and now running as good as new. Thanks again!
Thanks Kevin.
That's great, thanks for the information and for watching.
thank you sooo much you saved me a repair bill and my kids are so proud of mommy as she fixed the dishwasher
Great channel name. Congrats on doing the maintenance yourself.
I did this...it took about 20 minutes (I'm fairly mechanical) and solved the problem completely. The biggest hassle was getting the $#%&$!! caps off the ends of the sliders on the upper rack. Thanks for saving me a $200 service call or $700 to replace the unit.
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback and I'm glad it saved you a service call.
How is it working now?
iScaper1 It worked. We have clean dishes again. Thank you!
Francis Ignacio
That's great, thanks for the update.
Thanks Heidi. The turkey baster is a great idea. I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks iScaper1! My washer has been under-performing for months. I'm lucky to have your exact model, so the tutorial was really easy to follow. The dishwasher is working great now.
Thanks Gina. Nothing worse than an under performing dishwasher. I'm glad the video helped.
Fabulous video. You are a very patient and thorough teacher! Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise!
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks Susan for the tips and information. Where did you get the chopper blade?
iScaper1
Called Sears and they referred me to the local appliance repair shop and I gave them the model and part number to order however they had one in stock..lucky me...and the dishwasher works the best ever!!! Thanks so much for posting this video.
susan p
It's nice you didn't have to wait for the part. Thanks again for commenting.
We have the exact model. Thank you So very much for taking the time to post such an informative step by step video. We took the machine apart for the first time and were totally empowered. So great!
Very kind, thanks Roon you just made my whole day.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad the video helped.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad the video was helpful.
That must have been fun having the kids help. Thanks for the feedback.
It's nice to finally find a maintenance video using the exact appliance I own. Thanks for the detailed video!
Thanks Robert for the feedback.
Congrats, thanks for watching.
Thanks Stephen for taking the time to comment.
Thanks Matt for the comment. That's a lot of stuff to pull out of the sump.
