The audio from the MV Is from Flavus (a.k.a, the yellow demo) recorded in between Ember To Inferno and Ascendancy and was sended to Roadrunner Records in order to get signed on the Label
I never listened to metal but I’ve been getting interested in learning to do these type of vocals for challenge of it. It feels really good when I find that sound. Maybe this will be the song I practice to in my truck.
Hey man, have you checked out Oh, Sleeper? I'm not a religious guy but the lyrical story that their two middle albums (Son of the Morning and Children of Fire) tell is unreal. So fun to read along with and really understand, never mind from a Christian's point of view. If you check it out, let me know what you think or do a vid on them. Love Trivium and this analysis. Keep it up man.
Hey thanks for checking out the video, even coming from a different perspective. Yes, I love a lot of Oh, Sleeper's stuff. There's a video on the channel for The Finisher where I go over a bit of the concept. I agree, super powerful.
@@MetalSharpensMetal Haha got me there! Should have checked your vids first! Just watched it. Nice to see such a big fan of their stuff...They are sorely underappreciated. Was definitely cool to hear your side of the lyrics vs what I got from them not knowing a lot of the Bible!
Oh snap Opeth? That song is crazy good, but the lyrics ARE insane lol. But on the topic of the video, I haven’t heard trivium in forever, going to have to listen to this album again.
I remembered I had that Trump clip in the intro...this was all edited and uploaded a couple weeks ago, so it's unrelated to the wild news from a couple days ago. But still, crazy times in our world.
This is still their best album for me. I completely fell off after this album. Havent ever heard anything from them since that gives me the feeling i got when i first heard this album.
Hey bro, I'M A SOCIOPATH and I don't appreciate you SLAMMING US! In all seriousness I REALLY need to listen to more Trivium. They are a band I always passed on for whatever reason. I never had an issue at all with them, I just never took the time I guess.
Because I found them during this album they really stood out to me. If I first heard them later I'm not sure I would have gone back and gotten the same attachment. But this album and some of their more recent ones are pretty sweet.
@@MetalSharpensMetal when I was doing my old podcast Trivium was the most requested band for us to cover and I always shied away cuz I knew I was gonna have to learn everything about them in less than a week ha ha.

It did sound rushed
I love the Olan Rogers Baloon Shop reference haha
My man

The version from the music video is the demo version of the song because it was forced by the label to be rushed out lol
So annoying that they do that.
Trivium will always be one of my favorite bands ever
the audio for the music video is the demo for some reason, not the actual final song
So dumb of them to not consider MY feelings here...

@@Cwatt-dc9gr haha no shade, glad you liked it!
I personally like the demo version more than the album version personally. Matt sounds more like a damn banshee on the demo one.

It's not often that you see Balloon Shop references. I salute you, sir.
Haha yes! denzelwashington_myman.gif
im right there with you doing the air drum cymbal chokes lol
😂😂 just like Dave from Hot Rod

Totally. Agree.
Though I must say their latest album had some pretty epic moments at least.
i hate to admit this but the cleans in this kinda sound like Andy Biersack from BVB
I can hear that! Haha never listened to them before.
@@MetalSharpensMetal you’ve never heard black veil brides?
@@jamessheppard8402 not a whole song, maybe I overheard part of one in Hot Topic back in the day lol

@@dft9000 It's hard being a historian. That's why I picked failing comedian Christian vibes
Welp it's funny that The Deceived is the best track on this album
In terms of content, not so sure 😅
In terms of vocal melodies...yes.
