What makes you the most nervous in interviews?

Talking about myself makes me most nervous because of lack of confidence that I'm skilled enough or interesting enough. Definitely will focus on what I DO know and then getting the attention onto the other person as quick as possible!

#1 Talking about money. That makes me very nervous.
#2 Having a client to log into their Quickbooks and getting stuck on something.....and giving the customer vibes that I am inadequate. 😵

I am learning about bookkeeping now and it freaks me out. How will I ever be able to do it in a real life without any learning experience... Great tips as always. Thank you.

Thank you Morgan for those tips. I really do get nervous when doing interviews. Currently they are either via zoom or phone call.

Thank you so much for the great info! I would love too see a “how to” video about the way you create your videos. They are very well scripted, shot and edited. The bookkeeping info is great and is the best I’ve found on YT.

Hmm, okay, that would be fun for me to make! Not sure how much my audience would care, but worth a shot. :) Thanks for your kind words!

Lol i definitely used “let me do a little bit of research” yesterday and the client was extremely receptive!
I think clients actually might want to hear that sometimes, b/c they know certain tasks may require further research and they’re just happy they don’t have to do it lol

Get QuickBooks online Accountant. With the accountant version you can keep all of your clients under your name. Check out my video "who pays for quickbooks" for more details. :)

Hey Morgan this is a bit off topic of this video, but I figured it is your newest video so I should give it a shot.
I'm looking into the business license for Connecticut, and oh boy, this is more complicated than it sounded...
I'm still lost, trying to contact the secretary of state to get more help and info, but what is worrying me is this:
    - Is it possible that in order to get a license you would have to be a certified bookkeeper? Or have gone to collage or anything like that? Do you know?
Im almost done getting my Pro Advisor certificate in QBO, and was ready to get started with the business, but now I'm just afraid I'll run into some complications like that, and I only have high school degree..
    :(
Getting certified in my state did show up in one of my searches, but not sure if it is directly linked into the whole license thing...
That is why I'm a little worried.
Also I can't find a clear info, that is why I figure maybe you would be able to give me some peace of mind.
Do you think you could help?
Anyway, thank you for your time!

I have to look into business licensing for my state also. Are you sure that you will need one as a bookkeeper? Not all states or counties require them for bookkeepers. I know that you don't have to be certified or have a degree to get a business license.

Hi Talita, to acquire a business license you should go to your city's website ( google city name and business license). If you are looking for a fictitious name license or to create an LLC or Corporation ( S or C) then you can contact the Secretary of State. My advice before Creating an LLC or Corporation that you understand what advantages they provide and when is the best time to move toward that entity type. Hope this helps.
