It's amazing, what has been done and built without computers but with brains. Today it's amazing that anything can be done or built with computers but without brains. Mind you I'm not talking about you guys, no I'm talking about the modern world. After a day full of rubbish and "nutbars", it's priceless to me driving about in my old tipper lorry. I'm looking forward to enjoy springtime, when I can take my old tipper on the road again. Thank you very much for sharing this movie. Keep up your good work! Cheers!
+Carl Napp Thank you. It amazes me that vehicular systems that operated for years and years with switches and relays now require $400 computers to make them work.
+James Campbell Greetings from the US. The members of the Northeast Rockbusters Chapter do have some beautifully restored and impressive equipment. I have some videos on my channel of their most recent show if you would like to see more.
its funny that you mentioned the Swinger loader. I work for my town DPW in Massachusetts, and our park dept has a Swinger loader, and I never heard of one either, I'll grab some pics of it!
@@Trukluver real machines operated by people with backbone and one helluva work ethic no matter the heat or cold. I hope to see many, many more videos from you
There is no show this year. Club members are being urged to bring their equipment to the Baystate Chapter of the Antique Truck Club of America's show in Shrewsbury, MA and display it there. The show is on July 28, 2013. For more information you can Google Northeast Rockbusters for their website or ATCA to get the national organization's website .Once on ATCA, click on the calendar and go to July.
I remember loading under one of those crawler loaders. It couldn't reach high enough to clear the body. He had to dig a trench for our trucks to back into so he could load us.
At about 7:05... the big green machine... did Mack ever make an all wheel drive version? Seems like it would come in handy... well, when there wasn’t a Cat available to push/pull it out, anyway.
at about the 1:35 mark, there’s a. ask being loaded. I’ve always noticed how slow the wipers are... since as a kid seeing these trucks on the road. aAe they vacuum powered?
this is when construction equipmenr was m=MADE IN THE USA with us steel and us workersi watched neighborhoods being built with b model macks cat 955 shovel dozers.lets bring back those jobs back to the usa.

+Valerij Suhadolnik They certainly did have some beautiful machines at that show. Thanks for watching my videos in Brazil.
Thank you, for showing such rarity!
Neat old equipment, loved watching them work, thanks for sharing.
It definitely is neat old equipment. Your're welcome for the share.
Please go see stuff like this in person. Even though the video is great Its even better seeing this in person

I like the Erie shovel ! That drag bucket sure looked difficult to use. Overall a nice video.
I think the dragline operator was just learning. An experienced operator can make running one of those look easy as pie. I'm glad you liked the video.

What a shocker. Raining in New Hampshire. Beautiful trucks, and equipment, nonetheless.
It was a good show in spite of the rain.
I love the old cat tractors at work
I do too.
Nice video 👍
I'm glad that you liked it.

Whatever it takes to get the job done.

I don't think that Mack made an all wheel drive version, but I'm not an expert.

I don't believe they are vacuum powered since I'm pretty sure that the truck is a diesel. Possibly variable speed on a very low setting ???
That Green Mack looks powerful.
I imagine it is.
That green MACK looks tough
