Old truckers and the trucks they drive. Worlds changed now. No patience, or loyalty. All about money. An old guy I used to drive for had a collection like this. He told me always stay with petes and KWs. I did. He died and his boys now have probably 70 freightliners. Everyone needs more money got to have more. It's not about money it's how you do it.
I believe that McDevitt has both Mack and Freightliner / Western Star dealerships and possibly a Peterbilt dealership but I would have to check to be sure.
Love the sound of those old Mack's. Brings back memories of my Dad , he drove them a lot when I was growing up.
I agree. I drove a few of them myself.
Danny Black when my dog heard the engine sound, she crawled up on my lap and went to sleep. Truck dog

Jim Flett was one of the nicest people you would ever know, and he had some of the finest trucks. He is missed.
I know the restored trucks are awesome. I can imagine when they were new & working everyday

McDevitt is a Mack dealer, am I right. I believe the last 35 Visions we bought were from them. LILY Transportation.

Yeah Peterbuilt too we had 10 of them that were purchased from McDevitt.
In 66 when I went to get a Chauffeurs license, I took an eye test and gave the DMV $30. No drivers test
The good old days.
