My opinion is the area around LegoLand in the 33884 zip code. We have so many new communities going in and the area is safe, I know because I moved her 5 years ago.
hello, very informative video. I would like to know what are your thought about to made winter haven the place for a young family with kids, looking for a better quality of life....
So happy you asked first because I had the exact same question! 😅 Was looking at St. Petersburg but I have family there and they had to evacuate so I wanted to move inward and my friend suggested winter haven.
Hi Vince, great info thank you. Not moving to Winter Haven but we are staying in Haines city for our holiday in August and will definitely be going to Winter Haven during our stay. Could you recommend a boat hire company that we could use for going out on the lakes? Kind regards.
Hey John, here is a sightseeing tour of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes: www.livingwatercruises.com/explore-our-tours. If you're looking for a fishing guide text me at 863-271-8700 and I'll give you a couple of names.
@@solg1391 Haines City is pretty small and quiet. Like most cities there are places to stay away from but you'll see them a mile away and know where they are. We have an excellent sheriff and sheriff's department. If you have a specific concern or want to get crime data call the non-emergency number to the sheriff's dept and ask. They will be happy to help you. Here is the number 863-236-3900
@@yourmoveflorida We’ve just got back from a wonderful 2 week holiday on Southern Dunes, Haines City. Felt very safe although we didn’t do much walking around the immediate area, but did drive to the lakes and surrounding areas and felt completely safe.
while I appreicat your "opinions".....you mention I-4 without detailing what a waiting line to hell this is commuters. Good luck getting to Tampa or Orlando. I have been in Winter Haven since 1958.....seen a lot of changes and traffic is a major problem.
You are all correct! Everything is relative to a degree. I also believe that ‘traffic’ is inversely proportional to age-the older you get, the worse traffic is EVERYWHERE!
@299jordan Winter Haven is still a pretty small town compared to other cities close by, so it really depends on what you're looking for. If you need help figuring out where you might find some good job opportunities, let me know, and I'll see how I can help.

What part of winter haven is the “best”?

I think it's a great place for families. Especially the area around Legoland.

Fair enough!
In my experience, there is no such thing as “easy access” if I-4 is involved.
You're right, it might be easy to access but hard to travel!😀
Traffic here is not bad when compared to the Miami area.
@willr2808 Miami traffic is terrible, but so is Orlando. The bigger the city, the more problems with traffic.

@@vincereina4595 I’ve driven both. Monday through Friday, Orlando is nowhere near as bad as Miami. I-4 has much better flow in comparison to Miami.
