Thanks again for doing the video series, I did pick up a few errors in the vid so if you could pin this post that would be really helpful: First one, and this is a biggie, the Half Track is a patrol Vehicle, it should be driving up and down the road throughout the mission. ASSAULT Vehicles wait until the alarm sounds to enter the board. 3:35 He has TWO Lewes Bombs 5:44 As mentioned on previous video the sprint would alert the sentry (earshot 1 square) repeated at 16:50 and again throughout 6:08 As previously mentioned for corpses, picking up trap/corpse requires stepping on to the square (repeated throughout) 17:11 yes you can attck from forest squares. 19:58 It's not fine he's visible as the diagonal is adjacent. 32:19 It would be 2+ aimed at long with the sniper. here's where it gets messy :) 40:00 White sentry also sees jeep on the diagonal. 40:42 YOu can strafe but they need to be adjacent to each other. 41:18 You change the operator tokens in the jeep to spotted. You only used 1 of the jeeps 2 actions, is that intentional? 41:58 there is no cover modifier for axis units and even if there was it the unit would have to be adjacent to the cover. 42:06 You already used 3 actions, you are using 6 actions with him. 46:02 No minus one for long range for anything in the game. Just +1 for close. 46:24 you should have completed the fist action before the reaction attacks. 46:56 You can't attack until next turn when its the vehicle movement. 48:00 no cover modifier for vehicles & he's close range so he would be hitting on 2s. 48:30 here you should move the full 5 squares for the action then the half track attacks with the moving out of LOS modifier. 49:25 nope, it would smash straight through the hedge and unload into your rear. 50:11 No you would have died horribly :)
Ouch... This one was a bit of a doozy then! 4 corpses drove away somehow! 😅 I have no clue where I've been getting the -1 for long range, giving myself and the enemy a handicap there. (This one carries over to mission 4) Half Tracks smash through hedges! Noted! I have no clue as to why I took 6 actions with Ginger 🤣 As this was recorded the day after I recorded Mission 2 the corpses and sprinting cock ups have been fixed (I hope) for Mission 4. The patrolling vehicles has not, the motorbike sits there until the alert kicks off. I'll mention further corrections for Mission 5! Thanks for the feedback!
@@Forgemaster_Hiemal61 Thanks! I think the biggest issue you're gonna have is that the things you're making errors on is 99% stuff that makes the game significantly more difficult. This mission in particular I would expect players to fail multiple times first time through.
@robertbutler8771 I plan on covering the full game and it's expansions and I will definitely be revisiting the game for years to come, so when I loop back around to this mission, I'll be a grand master 😎🤭 I'm going to start replaying missions off camera to wrap my head around more of the rules that I keep misplacing. I'll get there 😀
Watching your playthrough with the added value of Rob's comments/clarifications/corrections one gets the maximum input on playing the game...Really helpful...I really hope to see you playing all 20+ (not sure about the correct number) of scenarios.
To be fair, I don't think you're far off with 20. I haven't counted them myself yet and I do plan on covering everything the game has to offer and even play through custom maps when the map creator goes live, and maybe even maps others suggest. I've had to re-record mission 4 today to replace tomorrows original mission 4 upload due to errors which I'd made during this mission which transferred over to that one... 😅 I think because I'm playing miltiple games on and off camera I'm just forgetting things. If I focused all of my energy into just this I think it would go much better. Thanks for watching! 😁
