The TJBC exclusive BOLT ON Jockey Shifter and Suicide Clutch Kit for the Honda Shadow VT600, VLX600 is the first of its kind to be produced for the Honda Shadow motorcycle!
The Jockey Shift and Suicide Clutch Kit is a breeze to install, requiring zero fabrication, you will only need a few wrenches, and some allen/hex keys to get your bike rolling! Polished Aluminum Shift knob is threaded at 3/8-16"
You can use your stock clutch cable or choose the option of a 2" shorter clutch cable in the kit! The kit will come partially assembled, you will need to use loctite and adjust everything before you ride. Tighten the Jockey Shift set screws down tightly!
The suicide clutch kit DOES NOT fit the VT750, however the Jockey shifter will.

My 50 pan was suicide clutch and jockey shift I loved it, lot of fun when the police tried to ride it to impound.
30 minute install, super straight forward! It took a few hours to relearn how to ride a motorcycle with this set up, but not a big deal! This product adds a whole new level of enjoyment to my ride, thanks!
Best mod ever! Installed on my 2000 VT600. Took me a week to get used to. I ride every chance I get!

Hello guys n gals, fellow bikers from around the world. I'm based in the far north of Scotland UK and a few months ago managed to get my hands on an imported VLX 600 Steed, more commonly badged as a Shadow I think, anyway, super excited to see the simplicity of installing of the jockey shifter and suicide clutch kit on this video, prompted me to order one immediately. @@videogameyahoo ive had it for 3 years now, had to swap out the shoulder bolt on one of the mounts recently after it broke. I used a regular steel bolt and its much easier to press in the clutch now. The only other thing I dont like is the cable rubbing against the cable adjuster. Recently ordered a new clutch cable and going to use some of the old cable housing on the new cable to prevent it from fraying.

getting this next week as I start my first build(getting a few things from u actually)...question, when I started tearing apart my bike last night...I realized I have a lot of wiring in front where you rerouted your throttle cable...how did you clean that up and where did you relocate everything?

TJ, you made that look so darnn easy. I Have a very painful arthritic left hand. DR. says I need a fused wrist and my finger bones all 25 of them need rebuilding. I don't trust doctors. How easy is it to manipulate that hand shiftier after your foot depresses the clutch? My problem is pulling the clutch lever, extremely painful. Hope you can answer. And just a note to all of you other tinker inventors out there, a lot of us bikers are getting old and grey and those that follow us that think they are invinsable will weather they like or not be getting older and more brittle too. I hope some one will be able to satisfy the older and grayer market. As I believe the album Abby Road said, You'll be older too.

Hey man, first of all I must say this was so easy yet pretty much self explaining video! I'm so interested in this thing. But I have one problem tho. I have a Johnny Pag Bobber 350 and I don't know what to buy. Would be neat looking, yet it would ease the drive for me probably. Any advise for a particular product to buy for my motorcycle?

Ivé just got the newer jockeyshift kit from you for my VT600 and the play looks to be bigger so the rod hits the frame or the motor depending of how i place it on the splines. Any tip on how to fix that? Bobby Ericson / Sweden. Thanks =)

Hey any insight onto how my buddy might have set up his suicide clutch with a foot controlled shifter?
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS basically his clutch is operated with a pedal on the right side. Transmission gear selection is done on the left like a modern bike with the foot.
Both brakes are on the handle bars. Pretty sure it's completely custom but idk not ad experienced with bike shit
