Currently working on the wiring harness right now and all you need to do is take your black and red wire to one side of an on off switch and then connect your headlight wire to the other side so if your switch is in the off position when you go to crank your bike your light will not come on. you can Trace a green wire from the harness and put your negative from your headlight wire together with the green and that is ground. I highly suggest you upgrade your ground wire that is right above the front ignition coil though.

@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS Any update on that? Would the headlight wire be connected to the starter or the kill switch? Ive eliminated the kill switch so would it be the kill switch wires and the headlight wire attached to one end and the starter to the other?
Does this not fuck with the Cdi box ?
Stupid question. What about the other wires left on the plug? Just leave it ? Nothing to do with them anymore?
Leave them they are for your brake light
@@ryanwilliams3369 do you plug it back in?
@@maykolmontilla519 yes
thanks for the vid I want to give my 96 vt1100c a crisp clean look and will be adding this to it is there a way to clean up the motor area of all the trash from the factory and make it still run and be clean as well
Cool, i also have a 96 VT1100C and im curious if you were able to do this. So, maybe a vid on your ride, how well it was cleaned up, possible switch places.
Inquiring minds would like to know.
Hope you were successful.
Hey, did you have the same wires? For mine, I don’t have that black and green. I am getting no spark for my plugs.. I have a blue/white, black/red, yellow/red, and a black/white. How did you wire yours?
No I sold that bike years ago and got a old harley sporty I am building now
Is that the clip that plugs into the speedometer/miles
on a 01 Honda shadow 750
Hey TJ! I would like to get in contact with you, have a few questions regarding one or two products of yours. I'm from Romania and I'm building currently my Honda Shadow 600 bobber. Best regards, Csaba! Cheers!
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS I don't have any order number that is asked in the must fill out contact form, so I can't write a message to you.. :(
I need that push button brother
Trying to follow but I have 2001 shadow ace 750 cd2 and nothing is the same as u suggest although I did find a "red plug" with a total of 6 wires of which the red yellow and black white are there BUT it has 2 black wires, so I'm stumpeed...
ANyone? Thanks in advance... I'm trying to build a bobber and for what it's worth I actually personally bought VTWNs public shell/stock symbol and went public with my company I a reverse merge. Crazy I know but true... look it up! Stock symbol VTWN and TBCo and me Shane Ludington. Never ridden before but love wrenching Ford Bronco stuff and this project is a special sentiment. Any help would be awesome and appeciated!
And theVTWN shell is for sale again as TBCO failed lol... not really funny BUT you can buy the Public Empty Entity for the bargain price of 100k I paid 200K :(
Finishing this bike would be just as well tho, thnx again, happy bobbing everyone.
How did you rerun the brake light switch ?
How to disco net vacuum line on 2002 Honda shadow ace 750
I had the same question and thought the same thing myself. I'm new to the motorcycle thing so another question I have is about replacing the other hand controls and what to do with the clutch diode. Can it be bypassed?
Do you have a video of relocating the hi and low and turn signals?
the high and low beams and be moved to an on off on switch just using the white, blue, and black and red wires
which will in turn remove the low beams and create an on and off for the high beams.
there is a wiring diagram on his website at support.shoptjbc.com
just search wiring.
the turn signals can be relocated as well with the grey, light blue, and orange wires.
there are three others as well that are running lights for your front signals and I personally didn't use them and eventually ended up taking off my blinkers.
What’s the specific wire? I need a female end for mine, don’t really know what to look up I’m new to building bikes
With the green tip, I need the Female end, wires are corroded and nasty solder on them
Amazing tutorial!
I am relocating start switch and getting rid of kill switch. Installing same switch you have in the video. Little confused about wiring the switch. When i removed factory housing, kill switch had Red and Orange wire and start switch had Blue and Green wire. How do I connect those to new start switch? Please help.
Sorry Start switch had Blue and Black wire
So after this your headlight will not work without that blue wire connected to something right?
yeah. i just did it and my headlight won't work now. its too dark out to fix it but I'm almost positive it has to be connected to the starter wire
guitarguy1995 did you figure out how to get your headlight to work?
I’d find a different spot to put the switches so you don’t have to snip the wires each time you want to just pop off your side panel for anything
👌
I wired mine into the side panel and connected it with connector plugs. Works like a charm is I need to disconnect
Will this work for an 86 450 rebel?
im looking at an 84 honda shadow harness, i have the section on the table that goes from the right grip to the light cluster and its only a ft long, leaving my brake light switch going to the bars and removing the start and killswitch buttons, the colors of those 2 buttons dont match these in the video.
my non latching start button has y/r, black, blue/w, black/red, and i have a nonlatching button i want to attack, looking at the button im assuming the black wires are the power and ground because theyre allways attacked and the blue is normally closed because it is attached when unpressed and the yellow and red goes to starter because it is connected when pressed, is that correct? if so is solid black the power in and black/red the ground?
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS its only a little different, i pulled it off the bike entirely, tho typing it out helped me understand it a bit more tbh, thanks for the video !
Great video but I need help! I did exactly what you’ve done here. I didn’t add a kill switch either. I’ve double checked all wiring fuses and all but my bike won’t start when I push the start button? What do I do?
Check the starter relay
@@jaycee9086 my is doing the same thing
My is doing the same thing
Did any of you figure out why it’s not starting? My bike cranks like it’s going to start but it never does.
I'm trying to wire up a 1981cb650 that I put on a rigid frame starting from scratch wires not even ran to controls on the handle bars I've never wired a motorcycle and have looked at so many diagrams it's not funny is there anyone that could help me out with this.
Hey brother I’m sure u heard this shit too many times but I’m at a loss here. Hope u can help. I’m waiting an 01 vt600, lights come on when I switch to on but the solenoid doesn’t click and I don’t get the bike to turn over. What the hell am I doing wrong. I’ve got everything connected
Those side covers ( battery ), you sell then?
TJBRUTALCUSTOMS you make those? They are perfect man!
Can I just run the button right of those wires without having to add wire ?
lilbroly 666 did you figure it out?
oh ad for the butt connectors 22-18 gauge good?
Does my tank have to be off for this? Jw (vlx 600) thanks
No, just remove the front neck covers. The connector is on the left side. The connector is not the same as the 750.
What gauge wires are they?
16 or 18
So the 07 spirit has 4 wires running to the starter. I’m not sure what to do.
Awesome! Thank you!
TJBRUTALCUSTOMS you have a service manual for the 2010-2013 VT750c2. Does this also work for the 2007 VT750c2?

Please.do a.video with the kill switch and button
sucks that my bike doesnt have any original wiring so its become a bit more difficult
Did exact same as video stated, push the push button I installed and nothing. What now?
Did you figure it out?
Forgive my ignorance I’m extremely new to building bikes but how do you turn off the bike without a kill switch ik it’s probably a dumb ass question 😂
yeah i just run a key and start button.
Would that and you single throttle cable work on a Rebel 250?
TJBRUTALCUSTOMS oh Jeeze. Yeah proof read David lol. The kill switch. Thanks for replying.

I think this is why my headlight isn’t working now
My headlight is also not working now did you figure this out by any chance? The kill switch and start button i wired in work perfect but no headlight and my front brake won’t activate my brake light, only my rear brake
The the blue and white wire feeds the headlight. Splice it into the black and red wire and everything works
What year are yalls bikes? And what red and black do you mean individually red and the other black
@@vp8589Thank you for this comment. This solved my headlight issue
@@vp8589are you splicing it directly into the wire or are you hooking those two to a toggle switch too?
Help please no spark
Why can't you just wire the Killswitch wires together
I'm just bypassing the Killswitch no relocating
We are so sorry but besides our RUclips channel and our support page at shoptjbc.com we do not offer any other building or diagnostic advice.
Now none of my shit works great
Anybody wish that his switch was more it's like if it doesn't look like a switch that maybe it looks like a part of the bike you just twist and that's the ignition I've been looking everywhere for something like that I really want to do like hidden in plain sight sight deal
damn boii you make this shit easy, once i get these switches in and get my rabbit ears from zombie performance my bike is going to be sexy.. probably will end up keeping it for life
Can i send you like $10 for all the help your videos have provided for me lol
I'm sure they wouldn't mind
2 questions .
1. why did you abandon the headlight cutoff .
2. you also abandon the kill switch , what is the advantage of having kill switches?
i mean, i hardly turn mine off and obvs, if cant be that important if you ignored it just here in your build
The kill switch is just to basically act as a key on the handlebar so you can turn the bike off without turning the key off
*wiring
Watching cuz my kill switch is not functioning and bike won't start
