I love Texas Roadhouse, even though it is a chain. I've never had a bad experience- but I will assure you whenever I do go there, I will not be ordering a hot dog or the cheaper stuff.. It's always a good party night out.. high dollar dinners all the way, and they always knock it out of the park!
You can also upgrade steak sizes that are not on the menu. The biggest filet mignon on the menu is 8oz but I have ordered a 12oz and seen people order 16oz. Also I usually get the baked potatoe and broccoli as my sides but if I want to start with a side salad I will order the salad and baked potatoe as my sides and add on the broccoli because the side salad costs more than the broccoli.
As a former meat cutter just order w/e size you want and we will cut it for you. Don't even bother looking at the menu and just tell your server what you want 🙄
Cool 😎 . My Texas Roadhouse hack is , I order the Roadkill and add two strips of bacon and a burger bun to make a sandwich out of it and you get two sides. So I get loaded fries w/ Ranch and a house salad 🥗. Another is the make little sliders out of the Chicken Tenders and the famous rolls w/ Honey Mustard . 😋

It's the same meat as the burger though, you just open the cryovac burgers and split one in half and add it to another and patty it out. 😁 I personally would save some ribeye and grind it before I did the chili grind and use that to make myself a burger. I got so sick for days after eating pulled pork at TEXAS ROADHOUSE! I swear it was food poisoning! I will never ever eat pulled pork there for all the money in the US TREASURY! I do enjoy their beef bits, some of their steaks and pork chops.

Texas Roadhouse absolutely RUINED our 26th Anniversary dinner, and doesn't care enough to even return a contact. Used to go for special occasions, but after being treated absolutely miserably at their Horn Lake, MS location; and then being ignored by management, we are not going back.

However, some restaurants only do that on certain days and/or certain hours and their choices sometimes fewer than on regular part of the menu.
They are made there from scratch and if it's crazy busy there's only so much the bakers can do. If you're only going out for the rolls then learn how to make them yourself

There are a discriminatory company and when they discriminated against us , I call corporate and as all corporate s they did nothing .do us all a favor and boycott this restaurant chain. Smart as s child worker who did this against me and my Down syndrome son . Can not be tolerated
