Perfect EDC Bag And PERFECT "NO NONSENSE" Go Bag Set-Ups. Boss you made PERFECT GET HOME BAG with minimise very practical useful gears . I am very glade that you avoid all bulky items to control the weight .Please add powerbank . This will be the BEST SETUP I ever see on YT . Thanks.
Love Maxpedition. I've had a maxpedition Monsoon for omost 7 years now. It's my EDC and it's still my favorite. No break down at all. It's still like new. They really do make some of the best bags. Thanks for this review!
I always appreciate the work and time that goes into reviewing these bags. I get a lot of info that helps in my purchasing decisions. With that being said, it's disappointing when the reviewer doesn't show the bag being worn.
Looks like a great bag, Tim, you did a good job explaining all the related details and you're right about including a compass as an emergency item since people are often under stress in these situations and its easy to get directions confused.
This is a pretty cool-looking bag and like the EDC size, but I tend to prefer their Legacy series. This reminds me of the Vanquest Trident 20, although obviously slightly smaller. I prefer the Trident for this size range and I think that is as small as I would want to go. Cool review though!
Good idea on the sternum strap whistle but with a little diy you can do so your self the clips for survival bracelets with the whistle included are the same thing and size if your interested
After watching your review, I like this Bag, then a few months later you put it out for Sale, bought it from you and it became my EDC/Minimal travel Bag. Outstanding review as always. Blessings brother!
Its a great bag for basically everything, people just need to know how to use it. Thanks for it. True that, (only one back) and getting up to that situation as well so... we'll see lol
I plan to get this for light day hikes in the mountains and desert as my current bag of 28L is too big for day hikes..this is perfect especially for my CCW whereas my current bag has no CCW storage
Do you think the color is uniform gray or there are variations in the color? Because according to the videos I watch, the color is sometimes gray green, other times anthracite gray. I sometimes even see 3 types of gray on the bag. Thank you for your work.
Very helpful video. I currently have a Typhoon II as my Get Home Bag and it is kept in my car trunk. I like smaller bags so I will no over pack. The Typhoon II and its strapping is a little small for my frame. I have thought about upgrading to this Riftpoint and adding the AGR water bottle pouch to one side and the DEP pouch to the other. Could of questions for you. Does this Riftpoint pack stand on its own when places on the ground? I do not like a pack that always tips over when the bottom is set on the floor or ground. Also does that gray color actually have a hint of dark green in it? Some pictures and your video have this bag looking mainly dark gray with a little green. Is that how it looks in person? Thank you.
Hello my friend, thank you for sharing your fine video. The EDC bag is quite nice. I like the way that you present the information. Take care out there. Be safe. 🤗
The Riftpoint is 15 liters... I mean aside from the fact that you can tell by looking at it how small it is, it says in the product description... and the video description.
Great video and i always enjoy your content! So, whats the difference between the Edgepeak and Riftpoint? they look very similar with the difference of 1/2in height and Riftpoint having 2 shoulder straps.
Nice review , great quality bag . Though I find this bag impractical . No water bottle pockets , front pockets look big but they hardly accommodate any stuff . I would rather recomend , Helicon tex - Groundhodge . Very versatile and practical Backpack . Good luck
hey, does your streamlight get hooked on by that holster setup? I have something similar and my my tlr hl gets stuck on it and it's a pain in the ass when trying to speed draw
nice review! question: which do you prefer, this one or the vanquest katara 16 backpack... they seem to be in direct competition with each other since they have almost the same specs...thanks
If you need the option to convert to a sling, then the Katara wins. For a backpack, they are very similar - it's all about preference for how they are organized internally at that point.
Andy Price A few examples - the wildfires in California and Australia. Those fires moved so fast people had to leave in literally minutes after the emergency personnel warned them.
Great video and I just subscribed. Want to point out that you fanned yourself (hand in front of the barrel) four times when you were showing the ccw/gun segment. Watch your gun handling!
You know I love your videos. Always very well planned and practical. I have to ask. Why would you include a ferro rod and not a Bic lighter. I don't dispute the usefulness of a ferro rod. I firmly believe in redundancies. Why not make it as easy as possible. SHTF is hard enough already, and if you need the bag things can't be good. Just saying.
Dont think so. The Katara 16 is usually a little more and the main large pocket in the Katara is very small. I'm debating these 2 and the Lithvore for a new edc bag.
Greg - interesting ideas. So it does seem like your logic says that no one is at 'fault' for anything i.e. there is no true sense of responsibility? Just wanted to make sure I was reading your thoughts correctly. Let me know.
Disagree that I'm an organic robot just responding to my DNA many people have the capacity to change from the way they were "programmed". And everyone wants proof of what they do or don't believe in that's nothing new
office workers need ccw pockets which are not visible since their bags are sitting at their desks while they work. A lot of spaces do not want people bringing protection in. Bags which are so visible with the conceal pocket are not useful to those workers. I get fast access is important. But being able to have your weapon with you is more important as a gun at home is no protection at all.
I love maxpedition gear but I feel like it attracts way too much attention when I wear it lol. Even as far as bass pro employees stopping me saying I can’t carry inside the store and I don’t want an issue so I open the pack to show there’s no gun in there. Who carries off body anyways lol. Point is I don’t like the extra attention:/
EverydayTacticalVids I'm not trying to take a shot at your channel, Just confused that maybe everyone forgot about the channel or RUclips isn't notifiying them, I love you channel Tim, I wouldn't dare hate on this channel. I've been subscribe for a very long time now you inspired me to make an EDC, Survival Pack.. etc, This channel deserves more subs and views. Thanks for making awesome content will continue supporting your channel.
All good, and glad to have your support, and thanks for being around so long. I'm sure there are a variety of reasons that my views can range to much. I got big views on survival kits a few years back so I tend to get the most action on those kind of videos. And I tend to be shorter in video length than some others so that might impact things since YT likes high volume on 'minutes watched'. I hope to make a shift in the next few months into more teaching and training, while keeping the product reviews as well. Anyhow - I'll keep on keeping on, take feedback to improve, and trust that people who benefit will stick around. Shoot me an email if you get a chance - everydaytacticalvids@gmail.com
maxpedition packs are starting to fall behind the pack. 5.11, vanquest, direct action and kelty have better designed packs, and they look better than maxpedition packs. maxpedition is just overpriced crap. how much you pay for that little 15 liter pack, $180? lol
Thanks.
Thanks. And great idea about the power bank. That would be a good addition.
Love Maxpedition. I've had a maxpedition Monsoon for omost 7 years now. It's my EDC and it's still my favorite. No break down at all. It's still like new. They really do make some of the best bags. Thanks for this review!
Watching this video from rural Japan 4 years in the future. Hope you survived Covid safely!
True - and thanks for watching.
New bag from Maxpedition - what do you guys think?
This is a pretty cool-looking bag and like the EDC size, but I tend to prefer their Legacy series. This reminds me of the Vanquest Trident 20, although obviously slightly smaller. I prefer the Trident for this size range and I think that is as small as I would want to go. Cool review though!
EverydayTacticalVids it might be my next edc bag!
I have the Lithvore. If it had the pouch on top like this one does it would be the perfect EDC bag.
Im ricking the rift blade. I agree, love the layout options in this line
Hope you’re enjoying it. I’ve only got one back so having a ton of bags is pointless LOL
Its a great bag for basically everything, people just need to know how to use it. Thanks for it. True that, (only one back) and getting up to that situation as well so... we'll see lol
Merci de cette belle revue !
I plan to get this for light day hikes in the mountains and desert as my current bag of 28L is too big for day hikes..this is perfect especially for my CCW whereas my current bag has no CCW storage
This baby riftcore is awesome. This bag screams EDC. Love your set up. Excellent review
Thanks
I'm looking for a new EDC bag and I'm down to this or the Specs Ops Brand T.H.E EDC.
Love your reviews and channel Tim
EDC the Word. Fantastic!
Definitely love the applications of this bag! maybe a future purchase!
Solid bag indeed - and thanks for checking out the video.
Do you think the color is uniform gray or there are variations in the color?
Because according to the videos I watch, the color is sometimes gray green, other times anthracite gray.
I sometimes even see 3 types of gray on the bag.
Thank you for your work.
First! Bag looks awesome. Need to update mine soon, will definitely check this one out.
Loved this video as always!
Nice video! Good to see both set ups, looks like a great bag.
Fantastic, been wanting a smaller bag.

Can’t wait to get this. Will you do a review of the 5.11 amp series?
Hello my friend, thank you for sharing your fine video. The EDC bag is quite nice. I like the way that you present the information. Take care out there. Be safe. 🤗
I love maxpedition I have a lithvore working on trying to get an entity but great video keep it up
Will a 15" Macbook Pro fit in there?😳
VERY Very snug.
@@EverydayTacticalVids How many inches is the laptop you show in the video?
It's like a smaller Riftcore, which I really like... still debating on what to get for smaller EDC so this might fit the bill.
Paul Hurtado riftcore is 23liters. This is 30liters. This is largee
The Riftpoint is 15 liters... I mean aside from the fact that you can tell by looking at it how small it is, it says in the product description... and the video description.
You must be thinking of Maxpeditions other new pack in the line, the Riftblade, that one is 30 Liters...
Is a lanyard on a tactical pen a good idea and how long/ what knot should it have?
How about some wet wipes or TP?
Not familiar with mac, what size is that laptop?
13 inch - Mac Air
Great video and i always enjoy your content! So, whats the difference between the Edgepeak and Riftpoint? they look very similar with the difference of 1/2in height and Riftpoint having 2 shoulder straps.
Can u compare this rifpoint vs the edgepeak ???
Nice review , great quality bag . Though I find this bag impractical . No water bottle pockets , front pockets look big but they hardly accommodate any stuff .
I would rather recomend , Helicon tex - Groundhodge . Very versatile and practical Backpack . Good luck
Tim, what do you prefer between this bag and the Vanquest Katara 16?
That’s a tough one. As a backpack, I think I do, but the Katara does offer the conversion ability to make into a sling bag
Will this fit an 14 in thinknpad
I gotta get one. Are they available in Canada
Does the ccw pocket go all the way through? Looks like it could fit over a luggage handle if it does.
Stephen Bridges yes and yes - good idea
hey, does your streamlight get hooked on by that holster setup? I have something similar and my my tlr hl gets stuck on it and it's a pain in the ass when trying to speed draw
I haven't had any issues so far with it.
nice review! question: which do you prefer, this one or the vanquest katara 16 backpack... they seem to be in direct competition with each other since they have almost the same specs...thanks
If you need the option to convert to a sling, then the Katara wins. For a backpack, they are very similar - it's all about preference for how they are organized internally at that point.
Love the vids - very informative. If you don't mind what are the dimensions of of your Mac laptop?
Here's what they say: www.apple.com/macbook-air/?afid=p238%7Cs4WPpCdN2-dc_mtid_20925top39173_pcrid_307882469702&cid=wwa-us-kwgo-mac-slid--
Really great review. Any chance you’ve had a 5.11 Rush 12? I have a Rush 12 and it’s so comfy on my back. Is the Riftpoint as comfortable?
I don't have the Rush, but I have had a few people ask how they compare. I found this one quite comfortable.
Link to the med kit?
Please review the pocket duct tape! Thats looks awesome!
KungFuTweety1 Thanks. I really appreciate that. With all the trolls out there it’s nice to get positive comments
Is a lanyard on a tactical pen a good idea and how long/ what knot should it have?
Under what circumstance does someone need to grab one bag and leave home at very short notice for a given time??
Andy Price A few examples - the wildfires in California and Australia. Those fires moved so fast people had to leave in literally minutes after the emergency personnel warned them.
Do you know if the agr and the entity line fit a 52in chest with the sternum strap?
I think I'm about a 42-46 and it works for me. I'd e-mail Maxpedition to get the details.
EverydayTacticalVids I did and they said it was hard to say for sure. They thought about 52in. If it's to small is it hard to return it?
I've never returned something to them so I can't speak to that - sorry.
Great video. What's the name of the med kit again?
That’s the Wild Hedgehog Tactical kit. Great people. Great gear.
Thank you sir
EverydayTacticalVids have you reviewed the Edgepeak yet? Looks like it's the same size but it's a sling bag and it's a little cheaper.
Anthony Rampino not yet
EverydayTacticalVids ok, I'll be looking forward to it
Where can you get the medkit you have for your bag?
That is from Wild Hedgehog Tactical - great kit
EverydayTacticalVids thank you sir. They have a lot of cool stuff.
This or the Katara from Vanquest?
Nice purse
what kind of watch are you wearing?
I got it in a BattlBox
The bag is brilliant but I find it to be very uncomfortable how the straps contour , but hey ho you win some you lose some
will fit a DELL 14
?
Pablo Hernández I doubt it.
Great video and I just subscribed. Want to point out that you fanned yourself (hand in front of the barrel) four times when you were showing the ccw/gun segment. Watch your gun handling!
Hey - thanks for sharing that. I've got plenty to learn. Thanks!
If they don't have any bags with the hi viz Orange then I'm done even think about maxpedition.
The titanLight is a lighter. It’s essentially a big beefy version of a bic
💚💚💚
Looks like a cheaper quality vanquest katara-16 but yet it costs more
Dont think so. The Katara 16 is usually a little more and the main large pocket in the Katara is very small. I'm debating these 2 and the Lithvore for a new edc bag.
Bible!! I like you more now bro! 👍🏻
Thanks man. My full-time job is being a pastor so I’ve always got a Word on me.
Greg - interesting ideas. So it does seem like your logic says that no one is at 'fault' for anything i.e. there is no true sense of responsibility? Just wanted to make sure I was reading your thoughts correctly. Let me know.

Interesting. Maybe the entity line would be better for you?
You have the exact same Bible as me.
Sweet!
It would be terrific to actually see a review for just once on a review on the pack and not what you carry in it. Getting freakin old dude.
rock on - thanks!
I dont understand why this channel doesn't pull nearly 5k views on most videos, but has 150k subs
I’m trying to read this and understand. Is this supposed to be an encouragement or a shot at my channel?
