Civic test answers (as practiced in the U.S.) 1. Executive Order 2. Gets ignored by every legislator / law enforcement / judge in the U.S. 3. We the Aristocracy 4. For tourism?? Please do come and spend your money here. To immigrate, what i've heard, you may reach getting a Green Card after hurdles after hurdles. Almost a waste of time. On purpose too. They are people who totally deserve to stay indefinitely. But that is not the case.
I’m already American and I don’t know any who isn’t a citizen 😂

Really? You don't know ONE non-citizen?🤨🧐
I find that shit hard to believe.
Frickin liar.🙄
@seanluzdeluna8153 if you live somewhere like nevada or Wisconsin there's probably like zero undocumented immigrants

We don’t have to file income tax.. The 1040 form where your signature is required is only for DISTRICT OF Columbia residence and government workers. This does not apply to other states in the nation.
I'm from Italy and my biggest dream is to pursue the American dream. I'm learning a lot of good and bad things about the country but I still wanna live there.
7:42 mike was going for that "it's totally cool"
Fun fact:
It is estimated that only 1 in 3 birthright American citizens would pass the citizenship test if it was administered to them.
The American education system! 👌
Im planning to move to America from canada, pretty useful video.
“You will have to wait 60-90 days”
Damn, and Anya’s 69 was rejected 😢
Very excellent video and it is very useful to me since I am just about to start the Naturalization process so wish me luck
The thing is when you are applying for citizenship you are working within the system when you can just invade the country like the pilgrims did from England and establish your own legal system.
sucks when the past comes to bite
Great plain language video! Breaking it down to basics is always refreshing!
Not breaking but bending the law is the most lawyer thing ever
1. own a gun
2. have a house
3. get an American flag
4.eat burgers from McDonald’s
I will say it's kinda insulting to just say "the best way to become a citizen is the legal way" without adding the context of the insanely long waitlists of many countries. For many, there is no legal way, even as asylum seekers. Otherwise, good video :)

Thanks Law By Mike! I didn't get all those answers correct so I've got some studying to do too!
I actually wonder how many citizens
can pass the test
they should spontaneously summon you to take a civics test and if you fail twice in a row you get your citizenship revoked and become stateless and deported to canada or something.
I've been waiting to get my US citizenship for 26 years, im originally from Mexico 🇲🇽, but when I was a year old; my parents and I were brought to California and we've been here ever since.
18 years is the average length of time it takes to legally get your papers
That depends. If you marry an American its much less. If you are afianceed to an American you can come in on a fiance visa.
@@radagast25a so again it take ON AVERAGE 18 years
@@startsomewhere5467average way is marriage
@@startsomewhere5467 not all methods are equal though, some will get you in really fast and some will take forever, so maybe on average 18 years but some people will wait only months and some will wait for 30 years just depending on what method they are using for entry to the US
@@startsomewhere5467that’s a long time. What factors are considering? I’m a student in Wisconsin and my goal in the next 6 years is to get a green card. Obviously i have to finish my studies first but I heard as long as I’m sponsored by a company then the path is only a matter of time.

Nope. Only direct relatives. Mom, dad, bro, or sis.
I wrote a comment on LEO Round Table complaining about the way the police will lie about the reason for being pulled over, and then change their story to try and search a vehicle. This was Chip De Block's response - "You're under the misguided impression that police should not or cannot change their story, exaggerate or even lie to do their jobs. Reading the part where you believe law enforcement should not pull someone over unless they have committed a crime made me smile because it SEALED THE DEAL on how much you do not know or understand."
Hi, great content. Just had a correction on the "acquisition" way to citizenship. Both parents do not have to be US citizens as long as one of the parents has lived in the US for a total of 5 years (three years before the age of 16 and two years after the age of 16) prior to the child's birth.
Keep up the amazing work!
Hello mike , you always seem professional. Why not show your everyday life . The real you. 💯
why am i watching this when i was born holding a machine gun.
Lucky you
Can you do a video explain more about a way to get a Green Card? It’s pretty much the hardest process so far.
Just marry an American. Depending where your from, it may take a DECADE before getting your GC. Unless you have connections. Might as well just travel here and stay. Kidding. It is not the hype it portrays. It was an amazing country to live in before 9/11 came along. So happy I was a teen in the 90's, good times. Even Taco-Bell had edible food for human consumption.

just a heads up, renouncing us citizenship is surprisingly hard and costly. my friend who is going through the process says that there is a 2350 USD fee, and that doesn't include the IRS making you clear any and all tax debts. I would suggest holding a green card if you aren't sure, gives you all the rights and priviliges except voting and be voted for. Honestly, do you want to vote for one of two old guys who really suck at running a country? Also ask Snowden, citizenship can be revoked.

The Bill of Rights....
Try again, Law by Mike!!
Technically, when it was sent out to the States originally, there was 12 amendments. So therefore, technically there was 12 amendments in the Bill of Rights....though only 10 happened to get past. Actually 11 now that I think about it. One was past in 1992....it was one of the two that did not pass in the original 12 Bill of Rights.

12:17 people often think freedom of expression is in there but it isn't because you can express yourself in violent ways.
Why do the parents need to be married for a child that is 100% the responsibility of Americans to be American? This is one of the dumbest, heartless policies I've ever heard. And I watch the news daiily.
To mitigate abuse of the system. A woman could sleep with a brit, never see him again, have a kid, and claim the father was American. If the couple is married, you have a paper trail.
