Stunning!!🤩 I'm a white Australian woman and I just want to say I absolutely love how talented you women are at doing hair I have trouble growing my hair and I have always loved dreadlocks and braids I've had braids in before and loved them so much!! Gorgeous go girl yeeessss 🙃 I braid often i never gave myself big ones but im so tired of braiding hair 😢 im a go ahead and make these braids your size and get it done cuz i have hair to braid this week 😪
Hey I’m getting my hair kinda like this. I’m wanting a larger size. How much would hair would you recommend? I just don’t want to have to go back to the store 😅
Aawww, thank you so much. I don’t remember if I counted them but that’s something I’m starting to do now since I realize you guys asked about that. I posted a video today that is similar and I mentioned the amount I have in each rows and in total. Hopefully that helps.
Do you ever wear those particular braids up? And I have to add that you were the one who convinced me that I can box braid my own hair. I ask about wearing them up because I never wear my box braids down. I don't like the pulling and the hair going in my face. LMK or show it in a picture or short video
I have a mixed daughter who is 12. I literally can basic braid hair so I have some hopes I can do this. Lately she has been asking for braids because she goes to a POS SCHOOL DISTRICT that has and allows kids to harass her for her beautiful curly hair so now she has a complex about it and wants braids because some girl told her she had "Rachet hair". Its a sad world we live in and I just want to make her feel as beautiful as I can in her skin and hair and I have always taught her to stand her ground with these people from a young age because I have a mixed brother who had to go through the same thing in these redneck towns. I have watched so many RUclips videos these last 2 weeks but I am still so confused on a few things. Some people only split hair into 2 when they start the braid and some do 3, does it ultimately matter? I haven't seen anything on how long the braids truly will last just general time frame of a few weeks. How do you know how many bundles of hair to buy? She wants jumbo braids but I feel like she's only asking for jumbo braids to make it easier on me so I would rather do something more for her like this video. Her hair texture is very soft also so I am hoping this won't be an issue. I know to get pre-stretched hair. Ive seen some videos where people wash the hair some where they don't. Im just a little overwhelmed if any other tips would like to be shared I would greatly appreciate it. Ive just seen so many different things I really dont know what to follow now or what is truly best. Thank you
You do have a lot of concerns and I totally understand and see where this can be overwhelming. I wish we could have a 1:1 session via FaceTime, or zoom or something. I would really love to help you and see if I can make this a little easier for you and your beautiful daughter. When it comes to braiding, it’s not a one size fits all thing and it’s so many styles, lengths, color, brand, texture, etc. to choose from. You just have to find what works for you and if you are new to it, that’s gonna be a bit more complicated especially when you don’t have anyone to guide you. You don’t have to wash the hair, but some people do it because they have sensitive skin. I don’t do it because I don’t keep mine in for long periods due to the fact that I’m an hair influencer and I probably would never because before I started doing this I’ve never done so. You can keep your braids in for as long as 2 or 3 months. I would highly suggest no more than 2 just because I’m a clean freak and depending on how fast your hair is growing, you might want to take them down and get them freshly done again. You can also wash your hair while wearing them but I would recommend once a week or once every 2 weeks and oil the scalp or spray water mixed with leave in conditioner and oil on the roots daily. I hope this help. And I’m open to chat if you need anything else.
I went to the website to see the shipping amount to the UK 🥴😭. Would’ve liked to get the finishing oils. Do you know if they have coconut oil in them? There is no ingredient list. Also lovely job on the hair, I’m going through your videos to better understand how to do braids. I’ve never done them on myself and would like to add it to my arsenal of being a lazy natural. 💛🌻
