    I’m an older man learning to do my daughters’ heads after my wife passed from COVID last year. She was an AMAZING stylist and braider. I had a few months feeling like a failure. Everyone just keep on reminding you that your spouse was perfect and that you don’t measure up to her talents. They mean well and I agree that she was the best. But I’m not going to be the type of dad who gives up or who makes my sisters, mother, grandmothers, cousins step in to do the hair care for me. I’m their only parent now so I have to learn to be both mom and dad as best I can. I studied your videos at night for 3 weeks on repeat with a Barbie to help me. I can do it now because of you. I’m very slow but I can do it. And it looks good. My mother thought my older sister did it! My sister thought our mother did it! My youngest sister hugged me and said she is shocked I did all three of my daughters by myself. My girls helped me buy the hair and plan the styles of course but I did the box braids. I’m grateful to you for your patience and your clear instructions. I’m grateful to you for making these tutorials. My youngest daughter laughed for the FIRST TIME in one year. THANK YOU!!!

I don't exercise, and holding those ams up is like chopping redwood trees down without a 🪚 saw or axe, but you have inspired me to try this pretected style. My hair is falling out at the root . Yep, did mine today, but not as many as yours. Took me two hours, while watching TV. Really pleased, you are right, you have to be in the mood😊. I asked my self the same question whether I would do it again. Perhaps yes, rather then go sit at a hair dressers post Covid 19😂

    I've been doing my own braids and cornrows for years, i understand you have to have patience for this type of work, wish i could put up a picture for you to see, i do my own nails as well. since i was 12 im 39 lol, but i just took my braids out two days ago and it took me 5 days out of 10 years lol really my younger child will be 12 lol, i hate doing hair but love it at the same time. 👀 this video makes me want to do it again, but bigger this time. I end up having knots or dreadlocks in my head for leaving my breads in for two months, man that was stressful. But im good now, love the video and for the motivation very beautiful love.

    • @felicia_rm
      @felicia_rm 4 года назад

      @@vivettewilsonbrown I feel you. Not to be shady or anything but I also used a different method because I wanted to make the braiding process not to take long. I also have a video up. I promise you, If you prepare in advance, your braiding process wont take that long. In total, it took me about 14 hours to get my braids done, not bad if you ask me for a DIY.

    Girllllll I currently have box braids that I did on Saturday and Sunday. I'm tired to even edit 😂😂😂😂😂 but I tried another method to grip but I failed and stuck to using my original gripping method.
    I always want to achieve that size but I fail unless I do knotless braids.
