    This has made a difference in my braiding techniques. I've been struggling with hair gripping while braiding... my braids are really neat, i don't need to trim the fly-aways after i'm done, but i usually do not like my gripping method. This has taught me so much. Thank you, Hairiscope.

      I viewed this a day before i braided hair for someone, and i'm glad, i did. The root was better though, i know i can make it perfect. Will continue practising.

    There are so many way to to do this technique but yours is the best for me. I’m a visual learner. Had I found your technique 2 days ago, I would have done my granddaughter’s hair in half the time. I can box braid her hair but she wanted me to add hair, my first time. She loved how I did it, but it took me a minute to get the technique down. Thank you for sharing.

    I have learned a lot just from watching your video on box braiding. I just started braiding my own hair. I really enjoy braiding my own hair. It didn't look as good as yours but, you have to start somewhere.

    Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. I have been looking for a video that gives step-by-step clear and concise instructions on how to do a perfectly neat box braid with no lumps and bumps. Whenever I try to do my own hair as well as my daughters, I end up with lumps and bumps my braids are all twisted in they are just not uniform and neat the way that I would like, but I think your tutorial is excellent for getting the perfect box braid so thank you very much! I will do my daughters here this weekend and I will report back on using your technique.

    I went to cosmetology school and we didn’t learn this. I feel bad when clients ask for protective styles. I try but they don’t come out perfect and uniform :/ I’ll keep watching this video and try to perfect it. Yours look so good ! ❤️ I wish I had a salon I could mentor in person with😩

    After i got about five braids in, with all of those all bunched, the small hair kept slipping off from my grip. I'll keep practicing. Thanks for the video.

    The grip has me tripping…😭
    I’ve been struggling with this technique but I definitely see the progress, it keeps getting better with every trial. I will keep trying till I get it perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏿

    I mostly agree with the braid size being equal to the amount of hair used. However, to save my edges, I do bigger parts with the same amount of hair.
