One difference I've noticed on the Baton 4 is the moonlight is much dimmer than the Baton 3 even though both claim 1/2 lumen. Perhaps that why Olight states the Baton 4 gets much more use from one charge. Or perhaps I have a faulty Baton 4. All of the other steps of light seem fine but moonlight is way dimmer than before. Has anybody else noticed this?
I honestly haven't noticed, I very rarely use any mode under high and/or turbo. I personally have no use for the low and especially the moonlight mode.
I was wondering if you were going to still do the drive and talk videos. I really enjoyed listening to those. . Of course your gear review videos are good as well. Thanks. Just curious.
Not likely my friend. Unfortunately someone was offended by something I said and was reporting them to RUclips, thus a few of them were taken down. Eventually I just removed them all.
Is it better? Well it depends if the Baton 3 premium has any issues cause the 4’s case does. Wonder if they alpha and beta test lights before releasing. Shame an issue was discovered with the case causing the light to act up when from moon light you switch to low and remain on low. It will cause the light to start flashing and flickering. At first someone thought it had a hidden feature of simulating lightning but turns out it’s an issue.
Tim with light in the case if you hold the case button the light will ramp up and down the brightness
Great video Tim!
Thank you!
That really is a good idea, five recharges, that’s great. I may have to take advantage of the Black Friday sale. Thanks, be well my friend.
Same here my friend. I think I'm going to grab me the OD Green one. Can't resist that green!!!!

Got my baton 4 today and yes the moonlight mode is half the brightness of the baton 3 I’m a bit disappointed to be honest

Nice
Not for me. Do not care about the light levels. 12, 60, 600??? Where is medium? Should be 60, 300, 600. Then I would buy a couple.
We need proper USB C charging, not this magnetic charging rubbish...
It literally has a usb c charger
