I LOVE that you showed in the beginning which fabrics are used for each part of the bag (showing a finished one side by side with the fabric cuts). I wish all fabric project tutorials would do this. Also really appreciated you explaining how to easily adjust the size for other snap bags. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial! 🥰

I loved your video. Easiest to follow. One observation, cut interfacing about 1/4 inch smaller than fabric. I found that there was an awful lot of bulk in the seams which kept it from completely closing.

Regarding tape measures , the cheap ones from the Dollar store are not suitable unless you double the strips. It’s important that you round off the corners of the tape measure before wrapping it with the electric tape or duck tape. Even if you cover the metal the corners will poke thru with use. Also if you are going to demo you need to do it for real. The quick ironing will not melt the glue correctly. You need to press it for the correct time, normally 5 seconds, over the whole thing. The quick ironing will separate with use

Love this bag. And 😉 the tip you gave about taping the end back on the tape measure was really a no - brainer BUUUT I didn't think of doing that before you mentioned it. So, i appreciate your advice on doing that 😉 i have a suggestion about the interfacing, though. If you cut it about 1/4 inch smaller on all sides, it won't be as bulky when you sew the bag together - specially when sewing the French Seam. 😉 And, yes, there are many types of interfacing, and, each type has different directions as to how to adhere it to the fabric. So, it would be a good practice to hold your iron in place over it a few seconds per section to allow the interfacing's glue to adhere to your fabric. Plus, some brands require steam to make it adhere. This is a wonderful video, though. TYSM for sharing it with us. Love the pattern and the fabrics you used for it. (Will prob go and get a cheap metal tape measure soon fo i can make one of these bags. 😉😻❣️😍

As long as you make your inside fabric at least 4 inches longer than the outside fabric it will work. So, measure your case that you want to make and add at least 4 inches for the turn down for the measuring tape to fit in and room to sew. Good luck as I am the same way.
