Indication to use shoulder support is instability and pain.
The brace won't be if much use in spastic patients where it will be more important to mobilize the joint and gain voluntary control over different combinations of movement patterns.

Mo thats a trrrible brace very uncomfortable and poorly designed the strap undrrvthevstmpit is painful
The strap under the armpit is painful and it’s do big if you’re a lady forget about it too big and strap acyoss chest doesn’t work you have to pull it so tight it smashes your boobs and pulls on your armpit

For obese individual it can be a problem if the extra large size of the support is also not fitting properly.
Otherwise the support will never cause discomfort in axillary region.
