What is inhumane is that the country is putting these people first instead of homeless veterans
And low income New Yorkers that have been here all their lives and paid taxes. Now they are retired and they can't get into the low income housing because there's a lottery

Why are veteran soldiers not accommodated with a free room in a hotel or given all the benefits these immigrants are being given. The city is no longer giving bus rides to discourage migrants from coming by making things a little less convenient. Since these people supposedly walked from Central and South America they can walk a mile further to their free hotel.
Lots of issues, I been petitioning my immigrant families to the USA for 13 years, also the applications were approved, but no entries yet. However, if I send them to the Mexico border, they can instantly cross the borders and then receive aid. In our Immigration petitions, I personally guaranteed their health, medical and care with my assets, the system is very unfair to Americans.
For 10 years we have been trying to get my wife's sister out of Communist Vietnam. She was denied a visa because she did not have the bribe money for the corrupt US State Dpt.
Go over there and pay them off. Our friends got their brother out like that many years ago

I am a New York City resident and if I don't have the finances for transportation to get from A to B, my only option is to walk. Those wanting to come to this city must deal with hardship like everyone else. If the road is hard then think twice about coming here.

I did not know this was a service being provided but now that I hear about it, this is going to affect children and elderly the most. However, they made it this far and across the border. They can make it several blocks on a paved sidewalk. This is NOT inhumane, as the lady said. It’s inconvenient, but not inhumane.

Volunteers are calling Ubers to ensure "asylum seekers" are getting safely to shelters. If you apply any type of logic - the same "aslyum seekers" crossed dangerous border from Mexico into the US by foot. Now, they can't go cross town? It's dangerous to walk 1 mile? How idiotic.

Thank God for New Yorkers. I wish there were such humane people in my racist town. I am very proud to have them as fellow citizens. New Yorkers are very humane and always wanna help those in need. Please, send all migrants to NYC. More the merrier.
