I hope these migrants realize that there really is no such thing as free rent in NYC.
There was free rent a few months ago, now the latest are finding out there is no free lunch. And they will be herded to the mass homeless shelter now. They will go back once they realize there is no free hotel for them.

Once they perfect AI they can start depopulation of the dependents, they will keep a minimal amount of dependents around for experiments and organ transplants but if you serve no purpose then you will be disposed of. The elites do not plan on sharing the earth's resources with dependents.

A friend of mine was an asylum seeker but the city didn’t provide him anything, no food or no shelter. Why does the city have to provide food and shelter for those people? Why are they so special???

I read that FEMA allocated $104.6 million to help NYC with this issue (not that I'm thrilled about that), but what is going on with our FEMA money? The last I heard was that FEMA was meant as disaster relief for US citizens, not foreign nationals who are in limbo status.
That not a lot. 300 USD a night per person just accommodation alone. Just counting 1000 people is already 300,000 usd every single day. There are more people and more expensese. 100m will be consumed in a few months

I used to go to the restaurant at Roosevelt Hotel in the early 1990’s where they featured and all you can eat prime rib and lobster dinner. Great cocktails too.

America does have an immigration policy that allow proper ways of coming into USA using different access. America does have love for all. But you got to do it properly so it is manageable for Americans. This democrat open border crap brings chaos and all kinds of people around the world in which you don’t know about their history backgrounds.
I don't know what new laws have passed in the last 10 years, but I worked as a legal assistant for an attorney who did a lot of immigration law. Those applying had to fill out a long form, show proof they had a sponsor who would feed and house them until they could legally get a job here. They had to pass rigid background checks, had to have a physical from a credited doctor saying they were healthy and free of disease. They had to pay several thousand dollars to the government to process their application plus several thousand in legal fees for the attorney to present all this to the government and it was up to two years before they every got a green card to come into the U.S. Now they pay cartels thousands to get them to the border, illegally, get money, an I phone, a stay in a luxury hotel and a plane ride to where they want to go with traveling money on all the taxpayers. Sometimes old ways work a whole lot better.
My inlaws just got here from Mexico legally. It took 3 years but it can be done.

Why do authorities continue to let people into the U.S who obviously do not have a legitimate claim of asylum? All you have to do is ask them and they'll tell you they came to the U.S to work.

Why don't they create their own jobs in their own country? We're not their employment agency.
During "intake" they should be asked why they came to the U.S. They should then be given the asylum application. When they don't find a box that says "for a better life" or "due to economic hardship" or whatever reason they gave, and they check one of the other boxes, that's proof they are lying on a federal form. That's a crime. Deport them immediately and bar them from returning.
