      In the case of Venezuela, the population supported and brought into power the governments of Hugo Chávez and Maduro. These administrations brought about the crisis by bad government. I speak as a citizen and resident of México where we definitely have our own problems with poverty.

      You must either be completely uneducated or just that dense. Are you not aware how past decades US has been slowly dismantling its immigration court? There is no such thing as timely manner with a backlog of one million plus. At that waiting after you’ve paid thousands for potential approval.
      For many in dangerous situations cause by US destabilization of their country, waiting for our inefficient and dismantled immigration courts to process the paper work isn’t feasible.
      Maybe if you’re that concerned. Then fight to reform our government to stop destabilizing other countries for American corporate interest. Then you won’t have mass refugee migration

    • @DC-rd6oq
      @DC-rd6oq Год назад

      @@miasparks167 I am totally aware of the backlog, hence my comment. The first thing we need to do is address the backlog. How many people of that 1 million plus backlog actually have a credible asylum claim? Less than 10%. Don't let the other 90% enter the country in the first place, kick out those who cannot immediately make a credible claim, and there is no longer a backlog. Make them fill out Form I-589 at the border and immediately remove those who don't or can't at least make a somewhat credible claim. Saying who 'want a better life', 'want to pursue your dreams" or "want to work" is not valid.
      BTW I'm neither dense nor uneducated. I am also not for open borders. And I am not so naive (or in your case, stupid) that I think allowing everyone into the U.S. is the answer.

      asylum is usually denied too, so the Biden Admin and these supposed "aid organizations" encouraging people to come here when they'll just be denied is irresponsible. they should instead work on reforming the immigration process so that the legal path is feasible, which is safer and provides better outcomes for everyone involved. then when people arrived, having already secured legal entry and a work permit, they can start building their lives as this man has mentioned wanting to do. I believe this aid worker actually wants these migrants to be dependent on her, otherwise she would be educating them on why they do not have work permits (which has absolutely nothing to do with Eric Adams or any other mayor).
      These aid groups could be out there advocating for these people to be processed through the system in a reasonable timeframe in order to get work permits and become self-sufficient, but instead she's encouraging them to complain about the support they have been offered regarding food and housing. It was very satisfying to see DN silence her throughout the video, I have to admit.

      and it has been very irresponsible of the Biden Admin to encourage people to come here knowing full well they'll be denied asylum, as most people are who apply. My ex-husband sought asylum from his third-world African country that had been taken over in a coup by a dictator who was killing people (political persecution) and his asylum was denied.
      So these aid workers who act like they want to help but in the end anything these folks pay to immigration lawyers to seek asylum they will probably lose. The solution we need is to reform our immigration policies so that these people can be vetted and provided with work permits.

The pimping that goes on with migration is absolutely incredible. Catholic Charities/"church" groups, Human Services, corrupt employers, tax funded legal services, corrupt colleges, corrupt city managers, schools cashing in on the extra IEP's.......not to mention the cartels (of many kinds). The whole thing stinks and will not end well. In England SERCO is putting out ads looking for long term rental contracts to house "migrants."
