I have Kushaq Monte carlo and have done appx 7000 kms in 4 months. During these months it has been on most of the ghats around Pune and its performance there is what has satisfied me most. Inspite of 1 liter engine car is highly peppy and does not feel underpowered at all. And most importantly the driving dynamics including the cornering. I have tried it on many bad bends and at various speeds, it just does not leave the line and drift, boosting drivers confidence. I have also driven it on Samrudhhi highway, its very stable and you can confidently drive it around 160, and it feels very planted. Max speed i have tried is 195 kmph. Its just amazing car to drive. A drivers delight for sure.
@young drug ac performance is just ok. It cools the cabin but takes time. The compression trip issue has been resolved in latest software update. I think it would be a issue during more than 40 degree temperatures that we face in summer.
@Nimish Gogawale suspension is good, nor very soft or hard. You can drive through small roughs without slowing down. Mileage in the city is around 10, but that depends on driving style as well. Mine is a but aggressive. Garve Skoda Bhandarkar Road is good.

We agree with you too. But in our water test the Creta did spill less water. The mug was also mounted on the roof so we are tweaking our tests from time to time and are looking at this test too.

Owner of Skoda Kushaq 1.0L Style AT variant here. Been using since last one year. Believe me guys- there is no match to this car. Its amazing on highways which can extract 20-24KMPL mileage with Cruise Control and constant speed of 80-90 speed for long distances without much breaking.

Regarding sun shade I love hyrider but in Hyrider I see very thick sun shade and it’s allowing lot of heat inside can I know how are you managing with this
Tushar owns a Grand Vitara with the sun roof and even we have experienced it as well on our shoots. The sun roof isn't thick enough. On a hot day the AC has to work really hard to cool the cabin and at times keep it cool to. And you also sometimes can feel the top of your head feeling warmer under direct sunlight.
@@rdaroga Sport, but in this corner test it would have made little difference as the cornering test is conducted at a constant speed with at a neutral throttle. This is done to remove as much driver input in terms of weight transfer, throttle corrections etc. So the cornering ability is left solely down to the steering input and cars mechanical grip + it's safety systems like ESP etc. The difference between this and the Hyryder Hybrid would down to the different weight distribution and a different tune to the ESP.
I have driven kushaq and its stiff suspensions are horrible for bad roads. Still manageable for front passengers but for rear passengers, its so disturbing.
The volkswagen taigun has stiffer suspension than skoda kushaq, I presume it would do better in corners , since you guys at cardekho have all the cars , maybe you could include the other three for this comparison

Yes, this is true. But as you can see from the Creta old vs new, the test was done with two different drive trains (Old: Turbo petrol vs New: Diesel MT) and the difference wasn't too much. While a big weight difference would make a difference, with the cars we had on this shoot this time, the difference between the weights isn't really enough to make too much of a difference.
This is why I bought the creta, cuz with a 5 saeyer I am mostly stuck in my city with in between long trips, its the comfiest after all, and i dont think 100 to 150 bhp cars are supposed to be drivers cars anyways

Urban cruiser hyryder is not a copy of brezza. Just go and check the dimensions and the car interiors. Its completely a segment up car. It is actually a rebadged rebuilt version of Grand Vitara. First try to understand different segment cars and then comment brother.

This is true. Control tyres would make a difference and level the playing field. But looking at the car that drives out of the show room is also a practical consideration for those who only look at upgrading tyres after their OEM set wears out.

All three though in similar price bracket cater to different customer base. I personally would the Kushaq/Tiagun as driving pleasure is the primary factor, also as I mostly drive alone, space isnt an issue either. Creta is the for the features crazy crowd. Yes it does more than that too, but to me Creta looks are meh and there are far too many on road (a testament of its reliability though) I havent driven the new GC or TH, but its clearly for the person wanting to milk the last drop of petrol, the interior quality is not on par of either Kushaq or Creta but that is a small sacrifice for saving big monies no?

I always liked carwale reviews. But this one i feel yiur results have gone seriously wrong. I have driven creta and hyrider for.prerty long drives - hyrider felt to be a better handler than boat like creta.
I have driven creta @120, and it is literally nowhere near taigun and kushaq, even the interior is Miles miles ahead of creta. And the 1.5 L engine is just supreme.😂, I have played with the cretas on the road, trying to catch up with me in a manual transmission kushaq 😅(my friends car) but then, again, if I want to spend 21 lakh on a car i better spent 26 and buy Harrier red dark which I did (actually for the second time, first was the 140hp one now the 170hp😂)

I single corner doesn't decide how good a car is at turning, people need to understand that, the same car will take the turn better if you took a different line with the same driver😅 And I am confident because I have driven both Creta Turbo and Kushaq 1.5, at 120 Creta feels light footed and eager to turn even telepathically (which is not good at all), on the other hand kushaq you will have to fight the steering to make it turn similar to Tata cars. (which is very good ) see you need stability when you drive at higher speeds, confidence just isn't confidence inspiring, honestly, the whole creta was better than this new one. I just feel very nervous in corners if I'm driving creta. and I'm used to driving even bigger cars, even my harrier doesn't do that.

9 10 difference is not much. Will still pick creta even though it's not that safe, but coz of reliability and peace of mind ownership. N line would be my choice. If they launch facelift soon then creta eyes closed

@@lukepaul1177 i ve read way too many horror stories of SVCs treating badly their customers, ruining their hard earned vehicle, not giving a crap about quality, lack of knowledge about their own manufactured cars, they take days weeks months to try nd solve stoll won't and give back with newer problems and these are all from these so called "safe" car manufacturers. I'd rather go for a car with peace of mind any day over suffering days months and what not.

Dude creta will score 5 star any day, what it was missing was 4 air bags for rear passengers and isofix seats now they have added it, creta will easily score 5 stars just like new Verna did
