I mean, you can't have a game about the Victorian era without including what was happening in Asia at the same time. Hope to see China and India get their own factions for the Opium Wars and the Sepoy Mutiny.
Yeah, colonial warfare in the 19th century is clearly underrated in video games.
@@SirDrakeFrancis I'd love to also have Ethiopia as well as the Boers and skirmish the other side back to the sea.
I'm pretty sure Taiping rebellion was among the options on the voting on the next DLC. India is also highly likely to appear.
@@CheQuinnvaraRules Boers are also not excluded but I'm not sure about Ethiopia. During the game's setting (1850's-1870's) Ethiopia was still underdeveloped and would not fit F&M well.
I remember that during a live stream they said that they will move on to a different game and are likely to not add major updates to fire and maneuver after this DLC. I might be wrong though

A shame the game won't get more content after this, but this expansion is exciting and interesting. I was wondering, if you are moving on to other games, if maybe you might consider doing an Ultimate General kind of thing, with real time gameplay at regimental level but also army and national management? It could be an opportunity, given that more than ten years on Ultimate General: Civil War is still the best Civil war game. It wouldn't be super different from F&M on the surface, but would also have more of this grand strategic play people seem to be craving.
I also love F&M and will likely keep playing it even after you stop adding content.

it would be interesting, because Denmark also had the Kalthoff repeaters as one of their optional weapons (again, we'd need variety or things that make them stand out)
