Ukiyo-e art looks ancient & modern at the same time. I think a lot of contemporary graphic designers and illustrators take inspiration from the style. I really love this style of woodblock art.

No other music in the world makes me feel like I'm listening to a live transmission from another era. Well... Music from the Tang dynasty actually does the same, but just feels more chaotic and I love it. If you ever feel like partying to music people would look at you funny for? Tang dynasty music is Highly Recommended.

Fun fact they color the people white because they where lazy the add skin color
But the painting is so exquisite and detailed. Why would painting the face be much more a hassle? I am not an artist.
