      @alexng4 7 месяцев назад +2

      I wouldnt call him a freak athlete..Yes he's fast in a straight line. But freak athletes have a combination of elite speed, agility, quickness. But watching the tape, he lacks agility, twitchy, or bounciness to really use his speed at an angle.. Its not hard tackling a guy with a lot of speed if he can only run one direction straight. I dont see him shaking defenders with misses by any athlete moves.. Just only runs straight..

      If you dont think feats of power are highlights then you probably are only a break away speed guy. Youd probably never draft great rbs like brandon jacobs, sean alexander, adrian peterson, charles dickerson, emmitt smith. Short runs weren’t the only thing these guys could do but it was a tool in their bag and some guys dont have the power to drag people those two yards when you need it.

      @@michaelaguilera3191 Running into the line and falling is not a feat of power

    • @michaelaguilera3191
      @michaelaguilera3191 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@SLaird22 sometimes there is nowhere else to run so you try to get the most out of the play. The thing is this kid is dragging people behind him every play. Thats power. And the one run i seen that he ran into the line was at 0:25 and that is a feat of power. He ran into the defensive linemen and with the help of his center and left tackle they pushed the two d-linemen and linebackers 3 yards back. But if you think thats unimpressive go watch a scat back that will get met by one of those linemen and immediately fall down with no gain. The kid breaks a tackle every play and thats really the biggest thing he may not break away but hes breaking tackles and thats power not speed like i said.

    I'm excited for the pick...but man could he use some tutelage from a good back. He's got great speed, but he doesn't get to top speed soon enough. And, he's gotta use the threat of his speed to do feints on DBs. If he better uses his speed getting to the outside, DBs will have to take more cautious angles to not get burnt, which will expose them to the feint and cut inside. A lot to work with there. Hope he's beyond the feet issues that plagued him in college.

    Damn, was hyped to see highlights based on combine, but he looks more like an udfa. No wiggle at all, definitely not explosive for 4.33 42vert, dont see vision plays. Maybe have idea of a very fast fullback, as he is thicc, but looks a little short for that.

      Yeah he doesn't look fast for 4.33

    I’m so excited to see him in sf yet part of me knows he won’t play a single snap and their udfa rb will get 50 carries

    Watch this "highlight reel"- then watch the Cody Schrader highlight reel. Night and day difference!

    Eagles 🦅 next back. He’s big, but has some pace to him.

    If the rams trade down from 1st for more picks in the 2nd or 3rd he's definitely being taken cus the reason he's gonna fall down is due to his injury history but mcvay also wants a Todd Gurley type player to pair along with kyren who reminds me of Emmitt Smith he runs the same speed an has physicality an vision an if Isaac is anything close to Gurley we might see the rebirth of the greatest show on turf

    Feel like this guy was barely ever given an opportunity to take advantage of that 4.33 speed he's got. They seemingly always use him as a short yardage back.

      Just because he barely broke longs runs , doesn’t mean u was used as a short yardage back lol.. did u not watch the highlights? He was used all over the field.. he has make the long runs and needs help from the OL.. it’s more big runs toward the end of the highlight tho. Whoever made the HL should’ve put the big runs first
