People are getting it wrong. They're saying he's a power back that doesn't go down in a first contact. That's implying he is powering through tacklers. However, he's actually extremely shifty. The first guy really doesn't get a shot on him. If anything, it's a glancing blow if that... and then his stout size is his advantage. Throw in the fact that he's actually a very high athlete and has a great burst of speed.
I was actually very down on him after watching highlights previously, but his vision and shake are very good. I'd say he's easily an early Day 2 selection. Also, add in the sweet hands. I'd love the Eagles to grab him. I think he's a workhouse back at the Pro level and I could see him being at top 10 back in the league.

Honestly he isn’t that different coming out than Josh jacobs was… Height: 5’10”(Jacobs) 5’11”(Estime). Weight 220(both). Damn near identical hand size and arm length. Jacobs ran 4.64 at his pro day (everyone runs faster at their pro day, unless you show up hella unprepared) Estime ran 4.71 at the combine, so jacobs probably BARELY edges out Estime in straight line speed, but most likely is too close to notice a huge difference on the field. Their 10 yard splits were almost identical 1.60 (jacobs) 1.58(Estime). Estime has a better vertical and broad jump which is a testament to his explosiveness- Vertical: 35”(Jacobs) 38”(Estime) Broadjump: 9’4”(Jacobs) 10’5”(Estime). Like Jacobs, Estime compensates for his lack of straight line speed with great vision, strength and contact balance, making him effective in any scheme. Also like Jacobs, even though the 40yd dash speed wasn’t fast, there’s multiple instances of him separating and blowin past guys when he does open up. Jacobs had Quicker/better and more sudden feet in the beginning of the rush, but Estime has shown the ability to jump cut and does it with surprising efficiency in the run game. Both are hard to take down because of their ability to vary their speed, and covert the speed to power. Estime can run through defenders like Jacobs, but can just as easily hurdle multiple defenders in traffic without breaking stride. He’s also an underrated receiver like Jacobs. Jacobs proved you don’t have to be a combine superstar to go on and lead the NFL in rushing. In the right system, I believe Estime’s future could be just as bright, in the right system. This is all to say he is being Crazily Slept on, especially with what he was able to show on the field. The team drafting him is gonna get a gem!

I don't see how he not considered the best RB in this draft I guess because he's not that fast, but this dude is a pure NFL running back he will great at the next level. My cowboys need a big strong running back that could help us in the red zone because we struggled last year with Pollard

He doesn’t have nfl breakaway speed but he is an nfl back, the kinda guy that will chip away at you for 4-5 yards consistently and break your will to start churning out 10-20 yard chunks

Having watched him in every game at ND, I feel he could be even better if he loses some mass in the upper body. He's so thick it appears he has a hard time palming the ball.

After watching this, so many of these “experts” breakdown of him is way off. Almost all the draft reports I’ve read say he “doesn’t have fluid hips”
I see a shifty 230lb guy with very good balance and speed. He’s underrated Forsure.

His run against Clemson was probably his best and most athletic play, but that run against Duke for the win was his most epic. Notre Dame really wasted this year by not complimenting their top 5 defense and great running game with a passing game after Mitchell Evans got hurt. He was the only guy that would catch the damn ball, all the other WRs played like ass outside of walk on lacrosse kid.

You know I was actually wondering what did that running back go to I wish the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will pick up this running back he is really a good one I mean really a good one strong powerful hard Runner speed also speed and rugged a Pro Caliber running back if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could get that running back he would improve their running game 100% that would be a great great move for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I really wish that would happen that's a running back they really need it will benefit the organization and the ball Club if they can acquire that running back if he isn't playing anywhere yet or right now if they can pick up that running back it will be a four-headed monster in Tampa along with Bucky Irving Sean Tucker and Richard White if they can pick up that running back the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would definitely have a four-headed monster a real one

NGL I can see why you say that. It’s hard to argue. But if you’re familiar with FSU’s Trey benson they’re ridiculously similar but the edge is to TREY because he’s much more shiftier and faster. And it’s scary. Either way a team with a solid ass O-line will be so damn nice with either of these kids
