Just got out of seeing The Bikeriders (good movie) but the Nosferatu trailer was the highlight of the showtime for me

It's pretty cool that Defoe played Nosferatu in the movie Shadow Of The Vampire, and now he's in this film in a different role.

The setting , tone, time period and environment of this movie is reminiscent to the early Universal Pictures horror classics by Boris Karloff (Frankenstein), Bela Lugosi (Dracula) and Lon Chaney Jr (The Wolfman)!.It has an old school and classic vibe!

Absolutely! I am very excited myself because I love gothic horror and Vampires! Undeads! 1992 Dracula is my fav of all times, I watched the recorded version only but I loved it to bits, Eggers is definitely killing it, love his movies.
I think Lily Rose Depp is going to be fine. From what I’ve seen of The Idol, she wasn’t the problem. It was the script. If you want to see her acting, I recommend watching Wolf. She hasn’t had a chance to really shine all that much.
It does look amazing!! The Bikeriders was really good, too.
So I am a recent subscriber sir and I need to say that your content is freaking awesome. I don't agree with every take but I appreciate your attention to detail especially on narrative which is something most people in this field don't cover minus maybe one or two creators. This was a great reaction video and did the job of selling wanting to see this movie. I am a filmmaker myself and I cannot wait for you to tear my films apart. Awesome job and keep it up.

I’m sure Lily will be fine. Some people just have to find a reason to hate on movies. I’ve gotten to the point I don’t watch any reviews on any movies im interested in seeing because some channels blow the negatives w@y out of proportion. I’m looking forward to seeing this movie !

I work as a manager at a movie theater, and when I heard we put the Nosferstu trailer on Bikeriders I had to wait in the hallway for the trailers to start to watch it

Pretty sure Lily Rose Depp replaced Anya Taylor-Joy, which is unfortunate. I really wanted Anya in this, but I hope Lily does at least a serviceable job. I did see the trailer attached to Bikeriders and I agree, the little we do see of Lily, she looks good. This movie is going to rock!!!

Robert Eggers could film a shit decaying and I’d watch it because he’d make it interesting. He’s a genius… EVERYTHING he makes is next level, extremely detailed, completely original, and fucking amazing.
Appreciate the videos as always man. I’m not sure if I’m alone in this but I’d love to hear your take on the marketing/teasers/trailers for Longlegs. I’ve never been more hyped for a horror movie than I am this one and I know that it has a lot to do with the teasers and trailers that were released.

Lily Rose Depp is a good actress. Yes, The Idol is hilariously awful, but no one walked away from that one unscathed, and she was no worse than anyone else. She looks great here and I’m excited to see it.

Two major concerns for this film:
1) I know trailers are completely separate entities from the film itself but this trailer is not very good IMO. I hope the “meh” feeling the trailer left me with isn’t reflective of the “meh” quality of the film.
2) I fear this film will be “meh” for a couple of reasons. The first being that Eggers “The Northman” wasn’t very good and felt absolutely toothless by comparison to his other films. And the second being that this is again yet another film A24 has passed on apparently. Which made sense to me upon seeing Northman.
Eggers to me peaked with his debut film and has been steadily declining ever since. Unfortunately.
I’m probably gonna see The Bikeriders on Sunday and I’m curious as to whether they will show the trailer or not. I’m in the UK so who knows!

I remember one of the trailers for The Northman, where it was all metal music over the village raid sequence, and lots of quotes saying how "badass" the film was. Trying to sell the flick as something it wasn't. Not surprised it's the same thing here. Looking forward to it nonetheless.

Did you watch it with closed captioning on? That made all the difference from seeing it in the theater to watching it at home and going from disliking the movie to being it my favorite from Eggers.
