    See, when it comes to giving the crowns to a Berserker and the opportunity cost, its one of the few classes that's decent on its own but highly benefits from getting a little bit of everything. They want extra bulk, they want extra initiative, they want extra critical, they want extra physical attack, etc. Which isn't to say the class is bad, but normally you have to pick and choose what each Berserker is going to get, whereas giving them a crown or two and a King weapon passively increases everything all at once. So tbh it makes a lot of sense to put stuff like that on Bruno, especially since he has a hit-all and a cheap row attack and can be a shockingly competent physical board nuke!

    Hey, let me share three of my own favorite squads in return.^^
    The (C)old Guard: Hodrick (Legionnaire) and Renault (Great Knight) upfront, Joseph (Paladin) switches back and forth depending of the better outcome, Yahna (Sorceress/Wicca) and Rosalinde (Elven Augur) in the back.
    Noticeable items: A Carneol Pendant on Rosalinde, Freezing Tome on Yahna, Pike of the General on Hodrick and Great First Aid Kit and Saphire Pendant on Joseph.
    Rosalinde opens up with her Fey Wrath, hitting the row with most combatants and generate a fairy. Then she uses Elemental Roar buffed by Freeze Conferral to freeze the entire enemy squad.
    That is the entire gimmick. Afterwards it is just the usual fair. Renault crashing a column with Wild Rush, Yahna killing the most targets possible with Icy Tomb, Joseph hitting something with Holy Cross and Hodrick catching stragglers and triggering Phalanx for offensive buffs. I could have given Yahna the Blizzard staff for additional theming, but it felt like overkill......
    The Tabletop Dungeon Party: Melisandre (Swordmaster) and Ochlys (Feathersword) at the front, Corm (Vanguard), Auche (Warlock) and Sharon (Bishop) in the back.
    Noticeable items: Wind Gate sword on Melisandre, Counter Belt on Ochlys, Corm has a shield that allows him to jump in on every attack like a Hoplite and 4 PP to do that effectively, Auche has the Trinity staff and Sharon has the Necklace that allows her to give 50% of her Mag.Atk to Auche plus a staff that gives her quick barrier (just so she has 4 PP).
    I call this squad that way, because it has every role of a typical dungeon party. Corm is the usual tanking class (though in this squad he only tanks certain hits), Melisandre is melee, Ochlys is "ranged", Auche is the mage and Sharon the healer.^^
    Melisandre and Ochlys do the dodgetanking with Corm jumping in to block ranged attacks. Corm also has Quick Guard set to only protect the backline in case of an attack to the backline. Auche has Trinity Rain set to start casting if 5 enemies are present, otherwise he uses his normal Warlock kit (if only 4 enemies are present the enemy usually has units that suffered loses by Melisandre and Ochlys at this point and Trinity Rain is a bit overkill then plus drags the fight a bit). Sharon has most of her passives set to only use if she has 2 or more PP to make sure Auche gets his magic buffed.
    The Thieves Militia: Celeste (Gryphon Master/Commander) and Bryce (Legionnare) at the front and Gamel (Rogue), Nina (Breaker) and Mandrin (Sniper) in the back.
    Noticeable Items: Golden Eggs on every one except Bryce who has the Golden Goblet, Gamel has the Misers Bangle and Bandits Longsword, Celeste has the Bandit Handaxe and Mandrin has the Inquisitor Bow.
    Yeah, if the item selection doesn`t make it obvious, this is my money maker squad. While they aren`t 100 % reliable at killing everything, they still are surprisingly versatile and i usually can send them after towers or defeat weakened bosses to make 20-30k bucks with the help of Liquid Luck.
    Their combat is pretty simple, Gamel uses his first strike on the fastest enemy to ocassionaly ruin a start of battle ability and then he throws his shadow knives to blind the most combatants possible and that is it. Celeste and Nina are the hard hitters with Mandrin dealing finishing blows with Pursuit or punishing healers with Healing Hunter. Bryce simply does what Legionaires do best.^^ Not one of my main 10 squads, but always useful for liberation or auxillary battles.
    Just my addition since sharing squads is fun.^^

    I really enjoy these types of videos, I'm about to head into the final battle just doing some clean up with Treasure Maps and Supports. Your Elven Archer build is similar to mine which is pretty cool to see. My Alanin's Squad has 2 Werefoxes and a Swordmaster up front to either Evade or Counter as for the Druid at the back to utilize debuffs and Alanin just blocks when needed and swings in at the end. Having most of the front line with gear that makes debuffs immune makes it extra nasty.

    For Bruno/Morard. Have you tried adding him to a dragoon dive?
    Albert, Scarlett wyvern is only 3 to get dragoon dive rolling with ice tome. Now. Accuracy doesn't matter because everyone is frozen and no enemy gets to passive heal the team because the tank covered them and fire doesn't stop them from moving. (Freeze makes Bruno guarantee his USA Smash) Scarlett has one passive point for Bruno to receive powerful call.

    Hi Tom! Love your vids! Just wanted to let you know that Aerial Smite description is actually wrong. The "user" is actually the "target" in that case, meaning the if the target is at 100% HP, they will lose the AP. There are a few other skills with incorrect descriptions and that's just one of them. Hope you see this!!!

    So basically Gladiators are either gods or hot garbage that can't even survive 1st round of combat without great support. No wonder I couldn't get the Brunos Bombers to work late-game. He died like he was a front -row archer/mage each time.

    • @aureliodeprimus8018
      @aureliodeprimus8018 5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, with Gladiators/Berserkers you have to know what you want from them and equip them accordingly.
      To tank? Give them a Hp talisman and a Rose/Holy Brooch. They benefit greatly from regen effects, especially if you can stack two of them. A Greataxe of the Giant also helps in this regard since it gives HP and a neat row stun attack. Though late game they are better as a sidetank to take some pressure off the main tank.
      To deal damage? Put them in the backline and give them some glasses to fix their precision. If you use dodgetanks in the frontline, you can actually give them the chime that allows them to use the guaranteed range dodge buff from the elven fencer, since they only need one PP to activate Berserk.

    • @TitaniumLegman
      @TitaniumLegman  5 месяцев назад +1

      What he wants is a couple buffs. A witch to give him magic damage will help him pierce enemy defense, or someone with the bracelet that gives Dancer's call to push his damage higher will do similar. Having the defense with a cleric and or shaman is certainly good, but it just lets the class tank, not slay out.

    • @aureliodeprimus8018
      @aureliodeprimus8018 5 месяцев назад

      @@ikefromsmashbros9237 Archers and Snipers are an interesting unit. They have this wide array of bows with support abilities that are single target, but their standard kit has a single, a double and a line shot. So basically you have to ask yourself, what do you want from your archer.
      Do you want him more as a reliable back row sweeper? Then you simply equip their attack and critical rate stat and set your Line Shot and Double Shot to only attack back row. and the rest of your squad can focus the front line. Also a plume can be helpful to be faster than casters and fliers. You can also give them Trappers Longbow so they can use Arrow Rain to hit everyone.
      Do you want a reliable support that can help with certain types of units? Then an Archer can equip one of the many bows with extra abilities that cause debuffs or ailments and set the abilities to target or prioritize certain units.
      Interrogaters/Inquisitors Bow is excellent to get rid of backline healers and of all the Bow units, Archers and Snipers have the highest crit chances, being able to one-shot a cleric or a wereowl.
      If you can set an archers initiative between a fast attacker and a Werewolf, Pursuit can bring a unit closer to killing range for the Werewolves pursuit, so your Wolf gets his one AP from killing with his one. Plus if you have other units that can hit multiple targets and one of them survives, Pursuit can guarantee a kill.
      Air Shot is an excellent counterability, especially against fliers. You can put an archer into an otherwise pure flying squad to have an advantage in an air-battle.
      So yeah, Archers/Snipers are basically niche-fillers. Their best usage is against casters and fliers or to guarantee a kill after a cavalry charged through with Wild Rush or a Wyvern have spit their flame breath on 3 units. Or, if you have a heavy-hitter team that gets ruined by dodge-tanks, one Archer can get rid of the front row of thieves, foxes and swordmasters with no problem. They aren`t a unit you build your squad around, but a unit you use to build around another units weakness.
      Hope this helps until Titanium finds the time to make a more detailed guide.^^

Eventually added Amber Sniper Lens to give it some more kick. Other units in the comp were Gryph Master, Sainted Knight, and Amaia (and no, Amaia didn't carry).
