@@Wilbur-em1hw Intercoolers can be massive it depends on intake air temperature. Intake turbine cfm is high. This increases air temperature as air is compressed. Hot air cannot be sent to the intake manifold. As it will be reheated later during the compression stroke in an engine. Intercooler size depends on temperature. Temperature depends on air cfm and air cfm depends on impeller diameter or impeller rpm.
Where is the radiator??. For turbocharged vehicle with higher displacement and big turbos intercoolers are required to reduce intake air temperature. But the engine doesn't work on an intercooler alone.
javane moulton it’s called egr cooler! It cools exhaust gases before it goes back into the engine for one more burn .... it’s the worst thing ever for the engine. Look up EGR cooler!

How i think: Air Mixed With Fuel Goes down to Pistons Then Explodes and then the Smoke Coming out through filter and then from exhaust. Yes?
