Teams sign a player to an affordable contract to trade them rather than let them walk a lot these days. I wouldn't trade Deni if I was them but I do think he could be had for the right price depending on how they view his ceiling as a player and depending on how they view their rebuild. I think Deni is way more valuable to a winning team and if they don't believe they'll be winning anytime soon and could potentially get 2-3 first round picks? Who knows.
