Also, real Lakers fans know this guy doesnt play defense anymore (calling him a turnstile at this point would be insulting turnstiles' ability to stop human movement), his body language/effort sucks, & his constant complaining to the refs leaves the Lakers on more 5 on 4's than I've ever seen.
If NBA refs treated him the way they treated other big names halfway through the year, Lebron would be a sub 20 ppg scorer with Draymond-esque tech problems. Not worth a max, not worth shaping a legendary franchise around.

As a Lakers fan the culture of the team just does not feel 100% bought in and extremely distant to what it once did by a Kobe driven team. I have accepted him like any other player but a lot of other fans have not. The man that changed the game from an independent business standpoint where players started worrying about themselves and brand, joined the team that had their last superstar put everything on the line for them for 20 years, whether or not him almost leaving during a bad management period. People outside of LA just cannot understand this aspect.
He went to LA for opportunities outside of just basketball & it's proven in the leading statement "he had no basketball reason to join them".

    • @tylerclayton6081
      @tylerclayton6081 4 месяца назад

Kobe didn’t win anything after 2010. Lebron was 34 when he went to the lakers. What did Kobe win after 34? The Lakers were an irrelevant lottery team before Lebron got there
You should be grateful he won a championship and still keeps the team competitive while being so old.
What you really mean to say is that you don’t like Lebron because he surpassed your god Kobe and threatens Kobe’s legacy. Lebron and Kobe essentially played in the same era and Lebron was always bigger than Kobe and always in the GOAT conversation. Kobe was never in the GOAT conversations because he never had statistical numbers, achievements and accolades comparable to MJ. That bothers Kobe stans more than anything else. The fact that Kobe is not top 5 and Lebron is number 2, very close to MJ. In fact, 34% of NBA players believed Lebron is the GOAT in a recent poll

He's really good at ruining teams and throwing other people under the bus with his toxic controlling attitude and his lack of accountability.
They're gonna get JJ Reddick and LeBron will blame him when they'll eventually lose.
Forcing "his" team to draft a subpar player because of nepotism is just wrong and something else to add to the loooong list of sh*t he does.
I only mention off the court things but tbh he also should be hated for all the flopping and complaining on the court as well.

Most Laker fans who aren’t entitled know keeping Lebron and AD is the best bet currently. Players don’t care about a team’s history nearly as much as other Laker fans think, they care more about getting their bag, the superstars of today have no reason to move from their teams where they fit, get paid well and have a team built around them. Also it’s delusional to think the culture is even the same to bring up how we’re supposed to be winning more. Yeah, we’re used to winning because 10 of our chips came from having Jerry Buss as the owner, the same guy that revamped the entire team’s identity, put showtime and the Kobe and Shaq show together and won 10 championships. Current management is incompetent and filled with nepotism, we’re lucky we got one ring considering the team was garbage from 2014 to 2018, that itself needs to be revamped before the franchise can keep adding to its deep history. Plus saying Lebron isn’t a Laker is ridiculous considering he’s had a similar level of production as wilt, winning a championship, finals mvp, making multiple all stars and all NBA and leading the league in a stat (assists and rebounds respectively). Plus he’s been in LA far longer than he played in Miami. He’s a Laker whether you like it or not

Because his antics are trash, he has had majority say in the team’s roster moves and that dug them in a hole. If it weren’t for that fake Bubble Championship we would be looking at his Laker stint as one of the biggest blunders in NBA History

Can we start blaming these front offices more. It’s their job to make these decisions and “No” is a word that they can use. The trade after the bubble ring for Russ was dumb anyone could see that wouldn’t work. That’s on both Bron and the front office. IMO all trade decisions fall more on the front office.

Honestly. I’m a Celtics fan and I have never liked LeBron and actually have a reason to (seven playoff series against LeBron’s teams in 11 seasons from 2008-2018). That being said, I would cheer for him if he played for Boston, which he never would, but still. I don’t get it either. Lakers fans are very entitled.

That RUSS trade was a total fuck up. Russ was cooked when the Lakers played the Rockets in the bubble and still pushed that trade.

He’s actually really not because while he’s there you’re a contender and when he leaves your team usually starts to suck and can rebuild through the draft. His massive contract also comes off the books.

As a Lakers Fan, this "lakers fans" you talk about are soft Kobe fans that think Lebron somehow is tarnishing Kobe's Legacy in LA. Real Lakers fans are grateful for what LeBron did to us, taking us out of poverty and somehow getting chip in spit of terrible FO who are complete frauds.
These fake Lakers fans, are right in being scared tho, LeBron is WAY BETTER than Kobe. And I say that with full respect for the Black Mamba who will always be my favorite player ever.

Rich said a two way deal places contractual limits on how many NBA games Bronny could play. That’s why no two-way deal will be happening. He can be on a roster and be placed on a G-league assignment
