I am a Wizards fan and I Hate we lost Deni he is a future star
lol do u really watch the Wizards? because i do too and there is no way he's going to be a star.
Pool partycatching bodies 😂😂😂
Wizards messed up big!
yeah its weird.. maybe he asked for a trade
Blazers fan...I hope so...But you guys have had one hell of an off-season already.
as an israeli who's been watching dani for a while. let me tell you, you're getting more heart and brains then what you may think. really high floor as a secondary playmaker.
big win for the blazers
I as a die-hard Blazers fan am hoping you're right. We don't get a lot of Wizards games here in Portland.
Wondering if he can even become the a key facilitator. I realize it’s early. But he sounds like a guy that could run the offense. I realize we have that but just curious.
@@ericroberts7485ruclips.net/video/7ieQlBXQaFQ/видео.htmlsi=Pdhgkbwod-OWj-x6 Highlights says the answer to your question is Yes. He throws dimes, behind the backs, overhead passes. He pushes it in transition too. Decent ball handler.. again, fro the highlights perspective.
@@ericroberts7485 YES HE CAN
@@rosecityusa6120bro.. believe me. His last year average was 14ppg with almost double double. And SUPER SUPER efficient. AND LISTEN TO THIS: for the second half of the season he averaged 19 ppg and 9rpg. I follow him on media. He works hard this summer on mid range and dunks like jalen brown. This year he will averege 18ppg and 9rpg. Enjoy this monster. And I didnt even talked bout his Defense. Go check how bron elbowed him and he stood up like a boss and when he attacked back the basket he pushed bron like he a little bird. You won this one easilly!!!!
LETS GOOO, THE BLAZERS ACTUALLY MADE A GOOD TRADE
We building a good young core finally 😈😈😈
Once every 10 years or so 😂😂😭
And got a top 3 prospect in the draft at #7 and he was #1 or #2 on Blazers big board. Picking up Clingan and Deni will improve the Blazers drastically imo.
Unfortunately they still have a 💩 coach.
@@KFBALL247Billups will be gone after next season
Im a Blazers fan up in Portland ME (Grew up in the OR one lol). I have been watching him a lot just due to being very intruiged when he got drafted. Seeing this trade made my day.
Blazer fan here: this is and A+ IMO
Holy fleece job.
Blazers absolutely smashed draft day. Deni Is so underrated and on an incredibly team friendly contract. And they got Clingan!? Sheeeeesh.
They are really starting to accumulate young high upside talent, just not sure if Billups is the guy to develop all of them.
But A+ trade and A+ draft for Blazers.
As for the Wizards…don’t know wtf they are doing 😂
They must be going for the worst record in the league to try and get Flagg. But we all know that rarely works out. Hawks won the lottery this year with a 2% chance. No one has over a 14% chance, and they were going to be bad regardless. So not sure what they are doing.
agree 100%
Deni finished 6th in the MIP votings last year, and could even grow more. Huge W for the Blazers. Wizards are cooked as hell.
Welcome to #RipCity Deni 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤🖤
As a warriors fan this stupid trade by the wizards they got poole and deni pick and role and now they got alex sarr. Deni the second best player on the team and hes price is low than kuzma and deni was top6 MIP this year so this is really stupid trade
Deni was wizards best player, not second to anyone.
Yeah makes no sense. I understand why Wizards fans are furious. Portland fleeced them bad.
@@modax0 feel you on this dawg he played defence and offence. but now he will grow from this. its like poole situation tbh
@iDanielll he comes from European BB which is a lot more team based.
Really good trade for portland.
I hope that they will be at least a competitive team
As a blazers fan I like this.
Chauncey need to watch some video, he is a Point Forward and a play maker. Let him run the team and not stand in the corner. Him having the ball will free up Simons and Sharpe
Totally agree !! He is very talented !!! Give him the ball, and you will see what will happen !
I'm liking this trade. It may seem like a lot, but you had to give something for someone to take that large contract Malcolm had. This isn't the only move Portland will do this off-season. It's just the start.
the wizards did the big mistake , deni would become a superstar whenever it will land , since his young age he is a brut diamond and a winner , with a fundamental basketball , IQ and a mental of winner
Let's go Blazers we are gonna be amazing defensively!!!
😂
@@cuzallen9323 haha hell mf!!!!
@@cuzallen9323clingan, avdija, Rupert, Sharpe. This team is at least average on the defensive end.
@@jarrettchristensen_music
Deni is a top 10 1v1 defender in the league.
The numbers support that
@@user-ch4io2do8dthis team was terrible defensively and Grant was on of the worst wing defenders in the league
As a Blazers fan, I'm super happy about this trade. Deni was half having a breakout year last year, and I think he could break out a lot more over the next year or two. And I don't think the Blazers really lost much to get him either. Brogdon is good, but not on their timeline (not on the Wizards timeline either though, so I don't really understand why the Wizards did this).
Great Trade for Portland now they have Point Forward who can initiate the Offence and free up Simons and Sharpe
He is a good play maker, great defender and has high IQ... however, he thrive in a non selfish teams .
He has European mentality and not all teams in the NBA can fit his game
Dani's fan here, Good luck boiiii
Absolutely AMAZING team-friendly contract as well
2024-25: $15,625,000
2025-26: $14,375,000
2026-27: $13,125,000
2027-28: $11,875,000
2028-29: Unrestricted Free Agent
Scoot needed another ball-handler/playmaker in the mix. Welcome to the Blazers Deni
Go Deni, Go, something good just happen to Portland , Go Portland, Go! Wizard history...
Deni Avdija is best as a point forward. he played PG at high-school. they've changed his role from SF to point forward after the TDL and his numbers went to 20ppg 6apg 8rpg at that part of the season. ending with 15 6 4 the all season. True shooting 60%.
Never thought i could be happy with my blazers.
You the first one who said his name perfectly
Wow, that's a strange deal for Wizards, why??? Big win for Blazers
Great vid man tbh it sucks he was incredible around the all star break and after, and as an Israeli to go watch Portland. And it pronounced Deni AV-Dee-Ya
Great player - improved a lot this year and more to come.
A+++ for Portland
This is an intriguing team but it really boils down to them allowing deni to have the ball more often.
I’m fans Portland Trail Blazers
You got yourselfs a player
Im so bummed for this one though 😢
Great Video Bruh.
Go #TrailBlazers
Don't think it's going to be as easy getting shots in Portland with Simons, Sharpe, Grant, Ayton, and Henderson. He had potential to get better right there in Washington. His stats probably going to be the same or slightly lower.
There’s a really high chance one or two of those guys will get moved. Most likely Simons and Grant. They both have big contracts and could fetch first round picks. Simons would be a great for a team like Orlando that desperately needs shooting, and Grant would be a solid piece for a team like Philly.
Cronin said in his post draft interview that he wants to build around Scoot and Sharpe which was interesting, before it was always “build around Simons”. So more trades to come.
Simons will be traded and Grant might be traded too
@@jarrettchristensen_musicI don’t want to see Ant go, but yeah he’s definitely going to get traded, Cronin didn’t even mention him when he said he was building around his core Sharpe and Henderson 😞.
Av-Dee-Ya
“The flip switches” 🤣. Seriously though good video
A+ PDX
Blazer fan, I really like Deni on defense and offensive potential, gave up a lot for him though.
wizards are idiots, no words.
Portland won a diamond.
2 first 2 seconds and Brogdan ! Come on man ! Portland GM is garbage.
The value is terrible, they basically gave brogdon away for nothing
he's a "nice to have" but hard to see him impact western conference or even his division
Now if only the Blazers could find a taker for Simons and get a decent veteran point guard they would be in business.
That sucks. Deni would have been perfect on the Mavs, especially if DJJ doesn't resign. If all it took was Brogdon and a few weak draft picks for Washington to trade him, Dallas probably could have easily worked some magic to get LuKai a instant ring.
Hasn't played a minute and already the best player on the Blazers 🤣
I liked Deni but I understand this is a complete rebuild. Open some space for Bilal. Wizards got phase 1 done and can make more moves for phase 2 which includes a rich draft class for 2025. Winning in 2026 could be.
Great analysis.
It would've been nice to see the stats in the video, rather than just hear them.
I'm not up to date about Portland, but thank God he left the Wizards!
Cheers
You will hear a lot of "Danny to clingan!" This year.
The Wizards made a huge mistake, Danny has a very positive basketball and personality
The blazers won this trade big time Portland we will see their next move
Deni is unselfish and needs high IQ passers with him, as he is an amazing piece for a sharing offense, he is also a great slasher so reasonable spacing is needed. Portland had a bad year in these two aspects.. So a couple more trades to improve the IQ and shooting, even slightly, are required to maximize Deni
A++++++++
If you wanna know how to say Deni's name it's Av-di-ya
Second most favorable of the picks
what the fuck the wizards doing
People in Israel says it's VERY BAD trade for Deni and it will be hard for him to handle all the selfish players in portland. We just hope after we had Omri Casspi and Gal Mekel to have once Israeli player who will make it to the finals and win NBA championship.
Deni Avdija - The J is silent ( Balkan countries )and is pronounced >>> AV - DI - YA.
Deni is the kind of player who takes what you give him.
Wizards - terrible coach, 100% iso play, stupid shot selection and negligent defence.
Deni needs a good coach and a team-mates with non-zero basketball IQ who are understand basketball is a TEAM sport :D
I’m a wizards fan and I’m steal trying to figure out what’s all the hype about Deni ? We was the second worst team in The NBA oh and Deni was on the team 🤣🤣 I’m glad we moved on .. no hard feelings but he hurt my feelings by losing 70 games. I almost dumped the wizards but this trade making me pay attention now.
So the spurs should trade wemby going by you're logic.
You can’t pronounce his name but it’s a genius move. Huh?
Garbage for a garbage organization!!
I'm a deni fan and I think Portland is one of the worst teams for him
And.........
Brogdon is good. Avdija was so overrated that it would drive me nuts how the Wizards would hype him. his D is incredibly overrated but part of that is he's undersized to the people he's guarding. he's very inconsistent with his shot too. the only thing i'll give him is he works hard but i would be surprised if he amounted to anything more than a part time role player.
You a Wiz fan?
Deni is one of the most underrated players in the league but keep trolling😂
@@robglobal1 you guys dont watch the Wizards i bet. the only times he did much is when everyone was hurt. even then he was incredibly inconsistent when he was the 1 or 2 option. he had some good games but if u actually watch the games you can see he's undersized to the other bigs he's guarding. he also misses so many layup finishers it's mind boggling. the Wizards took Portlands lunch money in this trade. the only ones who hyped him were the commentators but these were the same clueless suck ups that would hype Holiday like he was going to be this defensive stopper lol(who was also undersized). the Wizards have THE worst analyst commentators in the NBA. they were never critical of anyone and just hyped these players to try and get fans excited about overrated players who clearly weren't very good.
@@robglobal1 and i can't even believe u just said one of the most underrated in the NBA lmao. u definitely are clueless.
