It’s like watching a sunrise after your first night. You sat in the little wood shelter you hastily made in your first world - whether it be the hand-holding of the tutorial world grazing over your hands on your controller, or the mountainous landscapes of a freshly-generated place that you called your home - as the day broke. While the monsters that scared you away into the safety of your hut burnt to a crisp, wonder had sparked in your eyes as you took your first few steps outside to continue your journey. However, what you never realized was that your journey had only just begun.
It was definitely different back then. I hope people come to realize that while this was unique for our generation, everyone has had experiences with precious melodies behind them, whether young or old, and they use that to better understand each other.
I remember my first time playing minecraft was the demo version on Xbox 360. You could only play it for 30 minutes but my brother and I found a way to glitch the timer so we played it for hours. Man, what I'd give to feel that way again.
Found this gem in my recommended and it has somehow put me on the line between this being one of my life and one of the worst. Great music pally, keep it up
This just brings back memories from when i played those Minecraft minigames on ps3 i remember vividly making friends on the battle minigame we teamed up and ended up friending each other it was probably my favourite 5 years i ever lived. I never would've even believed someone in the past if they said Minecraft would be where my greatest memories was / my childhood but here I am years later realising i should've lived in the moment.
In 2014, when I was with my mom visiting a friend of hers, I noticed that my mom's friend's son was playing some kind of game. The game was an endless world of cubes in which you could do almost anything you wanted. This game really interested me. When I asked him what kind of game it was, he told me that it was called Minecraft. Watching my mom's friend's son play, my interest in this game grew more and more. When I got home two hours later and asked my mom's permission, I started watching videos on Minecraft: machinimas, survival, and minigames. Two months later, on Christmas Day, I got my own Minecraft account. My joy was boundless. Almost as soon as I found out about it, I logged into Minecraft and created my first world. I spawned on a plain with a forest next to it. I didn't know what to do or how to play at all, so I just ran around and explored the world. During the day, while the monsters couldn't spawn, I learned how to break and place blocks. As night fell, I made a small hole in the ground and waited for dawn. After I got out of my hole, I ran on. After 3 in-game days, I learned how to craft wooden planks and get food. After watching tutorials on RUclips, I crafted a workbench, a wooden sword and a wooden pickaxe. After playing a few more days of Minecraft, I built my first house, which looked like a box of wood. Next to it was a chicken pen and a small flower bed. I felt really proud about it. It's been almost 8 years since then, and I still remember it and even now I play Minecraft, although I do it less often. Thanks to the developers and C418 for the memories and emotions.
Many years ago, I bought my first Minecraft account and played on an old prison server. My first online friends were on that server. I don't know where they are now or what they're doing, but something about this made me think of all those times. 2014 just so happened to be that year. Thank you, Minecraft. You may not be perfect, but you raised one hell of a kid.
Now that im older it's just not the same. I tried to replicate the memory of feeling safe and happy but I just can't force it. Hearing this just makes me angry that I can't feel the same pure joy as before. Can't have shit in detroit
Remember creating your first world in a brand new game made out of blocks? Remember learning for the first time how to play online? Remember wanting to play with your favorite youtubers? Remember when you stopped playing this game?...
Yooo this is truly amazing, is it possible to use the songs for videos cuz this is awesome, no joke, I love how nostalgic each and every song feels everytime you upload one, it’s so relaxing yet nostalgic to listen to everytime!
Anyone else ever play on iBalisticSquid’s minecraft server The Reef? I remember playing sky wars and factions on there and making a bunch of online friends. I don’t think that server is up anymore (tbh it was kinda dead when it was alive) but I sometimes wonder what those people are up to now
It never gets old, does it? Only we do.
Remember them times when we dug straight down and hit fell into lava?
I won't grow old, I'll live forever
you made me cry
🥲

To learn, one must walk alone in a world, full of endless memories.

I've finally accepted that Minecraft is no longer novel to me. It's time to say goodbye and move on to the next phase of my life.
Mojang needs to hire this guy

Everything has an end
Everything has a begining
But there’s always more to life and you gotta let go.
Everyone has turned into Shakespeare.
