Just started playing WoW last year and have primarily played dps + a little tank across a number of classes. Every time I've dabbled in heals, I've felt entirely overwhelmed and just given up. Decided to give it another shot and WOW this guide is the first thing I've watched that's felt truly digestible to a total beginner.
Watched this video and dipped my toes into Healing for the first time and I must say its been a lot of fun! Great guide, easy to follow and very "noob" friendly! Keep up the awesome work!
Im pretty new to wow and this is my first full season, of all the guides ive watched, this one was the absolute easiest to understand. Tysm for making these😊😊
Glad I could help!
Thank you for the straight forward guide. I've played shaman since 2004, my fav class by far.
As a healer, it definitely has one of the best fantasies with all the elements/ water! I love it! Glad you enjoyed
Man you deserve much more subs, the way your video is edited - I can see you put a lot of effort into it. Thanks for the guide!
Appreciated 🥰
Unreal video my guy, I'm pretty much brand new to WOW and this made all the sense in the world, not too overloaded like many other videos. Much love
Really appreciate that and glad it was helpful! 😁
I absolutely love this guide, it's so well broken down and easy to grasp as a beginner, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so mutch for a verry informative guide for a restro Shaman, havent playd restero in 10 years, and this guide really helpt me in both raid an M+ for my guild. Your guide`s are super easy to understand and develop my knowledge from. Plz keep up the good work and we will suport you m8 :)
Thankyou so much!
Thanks for the video started playing resto shaman in raids and M+ for my guild this season and your guide helped me with the basics i now have changed the talent tree you have since im now hitting the 16-18 keys and we have cleared normal and halfway through heroic but i find that in mythic plus i like to unleash life into healing rain and with the tier set have riptides on players then PW on a target without riptide then use healing wave and it saves a lot on mana. Thanks again your guide gave me the confidence to heal higher keys and raid content
Nice man that is awesome! If you ever wana discuss further feel free to join my discord, I also do high keys and it's always nice to chat to other likeminded healers! Goodluck on raiding!
Thanks for the guide, super easy to follow and I'm glad you explained every ability and their synergies.
Sometimes people talk too much in that "wow slang" and I lose track of things haha
Been scared to try healer for a long time, so it's time to break that wall.
Thank you for taking the time to make this beginner's guide to Resto Shaman. I'm a returning player (after years of no gaming), and it's been extremely difficult to learn how to be a good healer in the new season of WoW. So much going on and so little time to learn. So, your guide has been very helpful in getting up to speed. Thanks again.
Your welcome! Good luck in your return to wow😁
super helpfull! gonne try main resto shaman in m+ with some friends. thanks for the guide!
Nice! Good luck I hope it all goes well! 😁
Such a good guide, keep it up broski! ❤
I will, just for you
Great summary!
Thankyou!
Thanks, I haven't played my resto shammy since bfa and i was struggling in a dragonflight dungeon on normal, lol 😆
no problem! If you need any more help / advise I'm always around :D
I normally play a resto Druid but I’ve been wanting to get back into my restro shammy but have been struggling finding a guide that wasn’t 30+ minutes and ridiculously long.
This was pretty simple. I feel like it covered the basics and strategy really well without being overwhelming. Usually one of the best guides are playing a character I’ve seen in a really long time.
Well done and thank you so much for putting this together
The one thing that did slightly confuse me was, you can talent to get out of healing stream, so I did spend a little bit of time looking for healing stream, even though I had talented out of it
PLEASE make a resto druid beginner guide! This was amazing!
This one is coming out today 😁 thankyou! 🥰
Thank you!
You're welcome!
TY for the GUIDE!!!, do you have numbers(%) about how much crit-vers-haste-mastery we need on raid?
What are you thoughts on Cloudburst Totem? I see that one being preferred over healing stream totem
Love your setup!
what addons do you use? can you make a video?
Thankyou! I'm still working on my UI... and getting it perfect, when it is (soon) I'll do a video I promise!
But to answer your question - Mostly ElvUI (Completely custom made by me) - Luxthos W/A's for each class then VuhDu & Clique for healing / bars. Lastly is Details for meters.
Well I'm going to stop spamming Healing Surge from now on. Great guide mate, I'm going to go practice not going oom now. :D
GG & Good luck! :D
Healing Rain is instant before ? I'm playing for 1 month resto shaman and there is problem when tank pulls big because healing rain is 1.8 sec cast, coldburst totem 1sec gc Healing weave got 2.3 sec. too long for the start.
A tip I can give is that if you're interested in learning how to heal, do a few random battlegrounds so you can get the hang of what things do, when you might want to use something and get used to a rotation.
Absolute best place to learn such things because it can be unpredictable, people die all the time and no one will know or care if you mess up. People just happy to get a heal in general in PvP, whereas a dungeon or raid could just end halfway through if you're trying to learn how to keep people alive.
Oh my god this is SUCH good advice!!!! Im going to remember and pass this on!
You don't use Cloudburst?
What addons are used here
i just wish you went over the healbot for the shaman as well and what spells you have on what buttons so i can copy
Can you export this? It's VuhDu I use but I can probably give u my import string (if it's possible)?
doesnt let me im so confused about heal bot is it possible to copy yours ive just hit 70 and i want to heal but im still confused a bit@@JaviHeals
Dw, join my discord if u can and I can help you get something setup@@joshdignam959
Hey. How did u get the party frames side by side??
A bit difficult to explain on here, but in discord I can show you the settings in a screenshot, if that's easier?
Noo
Ur leng
gheyyy
You definitely want more haste over mastery in m+ and I would not take unleash life in m+, cloudburst totem is still better and you’re going to want stormkeeper as well. And in 5 content using unleash life on chain is a waste because you don’t need those extra jumps on chain heal.
I mean he said it was for beginners so going for less button bloat is a fine idea.
@@carthage10 I’ve never understood beginner builds, like yeah lemme learn this build and than when I feel good lemme switch everything and start all over on learning. 🤷🏼♂️ just learn it right the first time.
@@dylan24848sorry me no big brain. Me have 2 left hands. Me no able press much much buttons fast fast.
@@dylan24848 It’s pretty simple, beginner guides in general are supposed to ease you in, learning the basics and getting a feel for it while trying to minimise information overload.
@@dylan24848elitist mentality, why people get exhausted with WoW lmao
Ghost wolf is 30% and not 40%!
It is 40%
It’s 40% like I said in the video
